Visited Brayford Pool for a boat trip on the Brayford Belle. Despite the cloudy weather this was an enjoyable trip. The female captain was friendly and gave a very informative talk as we went along the Foss Dyke. Would recommend this trip if you are visiting Lincoln and it is not too expensive.

Beautiful place, especially at night time with all the lights. Alot of food places nearby. Cinemas is also right nearby.

Description
The Brayford Pool is a natural lake formed from a widening of the River Witham in the centre of the city of Lincoln in England. It was used as a port by the Romans – who connected it to the River Trent by constructing the Foss Dyke – and has a long industrial heritage.
