Barburrito - Liverpool — Restaurant in Liverpool

Wrote a review for this place a few years ago saying this is the best for burritos. Sadly all the new reviews are negative and I couldn’t agree more. Been coming here since it opened and the change from when it first opened is extremely noticeable, guessing that they are under new management because all of my visits in the last year or two have been very disappointing and I won’t be coming here again, there is a much better place where the staff are a lot more enthusiastic and happy about preparing your food unlike the staff in barburrito, go to tortilla and get a proper burrito please don’t waste your money. If this place doesn’t get some new staff maybe raise their pay because they don’t know how to make a burrito I can guarantee it will close down in the coming future. Maybe will visit again and take a photo of how poorly the burrito is made nevermind the ingredients I asked for the fresh ones and instead got the dry old chicken. 0/10 for food 0/10 for the staff sad to say I would have been giving 10/10 4-5 years ago. On Monday 17th February me and my sister approached what we perceived as a pleasant looking place to eat. However Wasn’t welcomed once entered, found ourselves our own table and then came and ordered. With no indication or instructions we ordered what we liked the look off on the pictures and what sounded nice. With rude snappy comments from staff after we asked which salsa would be least spiciest, and which options weren’t vegan. Once sat down we still needed our “crispy chicken” which we had ordered that was a 25 minute wait following a tiny portion of what looked like moldy cold dried up chicken with a plain flavorless sauce on the side which had been thrown at us by a member of staff with no comments or even a slight smile. Regarding this issue I then asked for a refund on just the chicken. The women (staff) then approached to refund us which to this day we still didn’t get any money followed. Overall, a terrible experience and will not be coming back. Do not recommend if u want a nice chilled happy environment, this is the COMPLETE opposite, very disappointed. Here is a picture...

Family day out to Liverpool to pick up our wedding suits (for our now postponed wedding) we ate at Bar Burrito when we first went to pick out the suits and it was lovely! This visit was the complete opposite, we were rushed to order and given a small bag chips instead of the nachos we ordered, the fries has clearly been in the warmer all day, half were crispy and the other half cold mush. My daughters childrens chicken burrito was too salty and chicken was too over cooked for her to eat. Our chicken and chorizo burritos were so dripping in grease they were falling apart...and there was no cutlery to be able to eat it easier! The cokes we over spent on were warm and the whole meal was a disaster! I have made a complaint with the head office as I am still awaiting a full refund but I have had to chase this up as a week later (when them specify 48 hrs) I still haven't received a call. So disappointing, completely ruined the day out we have been waiting...
