I hadn't been to frankie and bennys since lockdown so we decided to go for old times sake as the old ones had shut down dirong covid.
We decided to go the edge lane and review the food for old times sake. What can i say.... Well nothing good!!
This place should shut down as well Infact i am surprised it's still open let me explain why.
#1 awful customer service.
No staff at door and the venue was not busy at all so we decided to sit ourselves down. Once sat sown we was greeted with a staff member.... oh you cant sit there he said!! you should have waited by the door!.... But no one was at the door?
Then the staff member wanted to take us back to the door which we was confused by. As we got to the door he confirmed there was seats available even though the place was near empty then decided to sit us down after all this strange rigmarole asif he was on some power trip.
Not a good start!!
#2 when the food arrived we was greeted with a charcoal black garlic bread missing food and the food that we did get was either cold or just not cooked properly. We sent the garlic bread back obviously at this point they asked was everything ok with our food..... Well no but at this point i give up pointing out how bad this place actually is.
The ribs was like chewing a rubber gummy full off grease and fat not hot at all and under cooked... Even the corn on cob was pathetic and was near freezing still.
The missing food turned up after we had to remind the staff mac and cheese balls whoch was absolutely vile and guess what.... Freezing cold!! Yep they don't seem to like serving hot food here.
The coca cola was also flat ad a pancake how is it possible for a place to get things so wrong?
I would never eat here again I will not recommend ot to anyone and I'll make sure people avoid this awful place save your money.
You would be better off buying yourselves a microwave meal.
1 star i wouldn't give it 1 star but unfortunately there is no option for 0
Stay away you've...
Read moreI do not waste my energy saying things I don’t mean, so when I say that I was completely blown away by the service, the food and the overall professionalism, I don’t mean it lightly. Absolutely impeccable. They were up against it tonight with a party in, yet my needs were 100% met, they actually went above and beyond. I forgot to ask to swap the chips when I ordered. When I received my food I asked if they could be swapped and within 5 minutes I had fresh sweet potato fries on my table and they were made so well (as you may be aware crispy sweet potato fries aren’t always easy!). Not only that, I wasn’t pestered, but between 4 different members of staff they checked in at the right time for ordering and to let me know if anything was delayed (I.e. drink because of the back up from the party in tonight)
I would just like to add these staff members are run ragged! They DO NOT STOP! And all with a professional smile, tone and manner. I even saw the lady with the dark hair behind the bar going to make a fuss of a customer before she left. You could just see the customer light up, actually brought a tear to my eye that much genuine care. Also the young lad has eyes like a hawk, checking in on who he needs to, quick to do whatever the customer need, what an asset to the team.
To be honest, they’re all an asset to the company. This particular franchise has a real family/community feel, where people seem to be the heart of it for the staff. I could recommend them enough. Truly incredible and what a lovely evening for me to watch and...
Read moreSorry it's 2 stars and that's the highest we could give. My son booked a table so we could go out as a family and celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were shown to a table which seemed to be out of the way in a corner by the window, we couldn't actually see any other diners. The waitress was prompt to get our drinks order and return with it. She then took our food order. When the order arrived we were disappointed. The two orders of full rack of ribs seemed to be small, we were pleased we didn't order the half rack! The fries were 'thrown' on the plate with a luke warm half corn on the cob. There was no garnish and for £15.99 it was over priced. Another member of our group, their burger was cold. We complained and it was returned to the kitchen. In less than five minutes a fresh meal was returned to our table. Apparently, this one was only slightly warmer but it was eaten. The two other burgers were eaten dispite them only being warm. We had an online voucher for 33% off our mains. The bill still came to just over £70 which included the drinks and two cocktails. We decided to leave then and order desserts on line from somewhere else. We won't be...
