8th May. Vegans beware! At lunch today it was discovered that I had been served non vegan food by mistake on my last visit. Incredibly disappointing and unacceptable given potential food allergies and intolerances. Manager handled complaint well, so they get at least 1 star. 25.4.24 Carrot cake frosting tasted like margarine, so that wasn't so nice. ********************************************** Latest visit - Mediocre at best - Sunday Food wasn't up to regular standard Deducted 2 stars Update: LOVE the vegan options here. The hummus starter with the pickles, pesto and chick peas is my favourite. 💚 Both the nut roast and chilli noodles are delicious.💚 Carrot cake with mango sorbet was lovely too.💚 Exceptional quality vegan food. 2nd visit. They've expanded the vegan menu to 3 main meals...desserts too. Friendly staff. They just need plant based milk for coffee now. 1st visit...good food. Limited vegan menu.

Date Of Visit - 11/09/20 We decided on the Hanover Street Social for a bit of lunch at the last minute. The restaurant was immaculately clean and the staff were warm and attentive. I had the calamari starter which I forgot to photograph 🙄, it was amazingly fresh. The crispy pork belly for the main was a little on the dry side and the crackling was tough and inedible sadly. Gutted cos that is the best bet. The fish and chips were also freshly prepared and really tasty, could have done with a few more peas tho. I was not surprised really at the quality of the food overall because this is a sister restaurant of Bacaro and they have extremely high standards. We will visit again. ✌️

Great pre-concert meal Popped in when passing early Sunday evening before a concert Had to choose from the slightly cut down menu but that was not a problem. I went for the chicken liver pate to start - so smooth, almost like foie gras . For main, I went for one of the specials, a big pot of mussels (Moules Mariniere) served with fries and bread, very nice. I don't normally do desert but the section of cheeses was too tempting and all for £20! Great staff, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food. Looking forward to returning and sampling some dishes from the full menu. Very enjoyable meal....which is more than can be said for the concert

All staff were really friendly throughout our stay. The atmosphere was very relaxed and casual. The food was gorgeous! We had soup of the day for starters, I had the roast chicken breast for mains and my partner had the double patty burger, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We didn’t order pudding because we were stuffed but we saw lots going out and they looked gorgeous. We had a bottle of wine to share, we got the cheaper one as it was recommended to be sweeter and it lovely! Very happy we didn’t have to pay too much for it. The restaurant felt very clean & covid safe as it was quite busy. We would definitely visit again!

Went to the Hanover Street Social, we had booked for 12.00 noon but arrived 10 mins early and they weren’t open yet. Regardless of that we were made welcome and shown to our seats and made extremely welcome. We had the lunch time special, I had the Chicken pot pie with chips - to say that it was excellent does not give justice - it was fantastic! The taste was just amazing. My wife’s meal was fish and she said that was great as well, we complimented the staff for the quality of the meal and the service we received. Highly recommend this restaurant, if I could give 5 more stars they would have got them.

Came across this brassiere on one of our days out in Liverpool as we were also on the outlook for a light lunch . We spotted their express lunch , quick service it was too. Got the two coarse meal: fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding , it was good! If u like thin and crispy battered fish , u will find it here . What’s more it’s well priced and honestly we did not even need an evening meal when we got home. Quiet atmosphere is good . We just eavesdrop on conversations if they talked loud enough . The wait on staff were so lovely and attentive and really good at what they do.
