A GREAT Pub! No food here, which is a shame but it's a drinking pub and that's okay. Maybe some quick pizzas could be an idea in the future to soak up the drinks?
The service I've recieved every time I've been here is wonderful. I'm a bit of an introvert so come out often on my own, but always enjoy chatting away to the bar staff & watching the Sports they show here. It's a GREAT place to watch the games & they'll always put on the commentary if you ask. Maybe on a TV only if its not a big thing rather than the speakers, which is completely understandable.
Great security staff as well keeping the riff raff out, keeping everyone safe! Oh, and did I mention £1.95 cask ale pints every Tuesday & Open mic nights on Thursday's? I'll see you there...

The ladies on the bar (I think their names were Ruth and Elaine) welcomed me with a warm smile and recommended their speciality, Carling what only cost £2.50. I would of sworn it tasted as good as a San Miguel! The music was relaxing, the general ambience of the place was nostalgic to a classic pub in simpler times. and the character of the building paired with the extremely kind locals makes this pub second to none. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who appreciates a quiet weekday pint. Thank you Ruth and Elaine for your hard work and...

All we could do was look into it hoping that an ember might ignite. Went outside for a cig where you get greater with a sea of green dodgy flooring, which, in the wet is a safety hazard at the least. The owners have recently upped the wall up though. With some local tatty artwork. Still. I wasn't expecting a Banksy while I could feel the water coming into my shoes from the illusionary green grass. I'd go across the...
