Hot Pot Malatang — Restaurant in Liverpool

This place is easily one of my favorite spots for a great meal! The food is consistently delicious, and the variety of options makes every visit exciting.

I had the beef ramen, and the flavor profile was outstanding. The broth was rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with tender beef and fresh toppings that made each bite enjoyable. It’s definitely one of the best ramen bowls I’ve had.

I also tried the Malatang, which was a fantastic experience. Being able to choose my own ingredients made it feel personalized, and the soup itself was incredible, full of bold, aromatic spices. I loved that I could add extra seasonings to enhance the flavors even more. The portions were generous and well worth the price.

To top it off, I had the fried chicken. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. While it wasn’t spicy, the texture and seasoning were spot on, making it a satisfying dish.

awesome food and definitely tasty too! a lot of selection of meat, vegetables and noodles to create your own noodles (price is counted per 100g). various condiments are also available ✌🏻there are a menu for other noodles and rice too (braised beef noodles is tasty, would defo eat it again!!) the sago, red bean & milk is soooo good. the red bean is so sweet but the milk balances out the sweetness, which makes it tasty!

When I entered Hot Pot, I felt a bit lost, which the staff quickly noticed and approached me with a smile, explaining to me one by one how to put the toppings into the bowl and described them to me, asking about my preferences. I like quite spicy food and the lady recommended medium spicy nudle soup, saying that I could always add spices, which were available in containers next to the cutlery.
