Just Wings Restaurant Liverpool — Restaurant in Liverpool

Ordered twice from this restaurant via UberEats. The first time, the order was over half an hour late. I asked for an update several times via the UberEats app but received no updates so I needed to call the restaurant to ask why this happened. I was told that my order was 'missed' from their system and they would try and send it out as soon as possible. Around half an hour later, the food arrived. Delivery man was nice enough but by this time, the food was well over an hour late. I was disappointed but put it down to a one-off issue. The second time, the order again did not arrive on time so I called the restaurant after half an hour of waiting past the latest expected delivery time. I also requested updates via the app but didn't receive anything back. I ended up calling the restaurant over 7 times over the course of an hour and a half, each time with no response whatsoever. By this time, I was sure that the food wouldn't arrive and notified UberEats. I can only hope for a refund. I know that mistakes happen and that restaurants are busy, especially during this difficult lockdown/isolation time, but I am extremely disappointed. I did not receive anything back from the restaurant at all. Not even a call back. I definitely will not order from here again and I wouldn't advise anyone...

Ordered through Just Eat around 8pm, got a notification to say order accepted and food would be delivered by 9:10. Expected delivery time kept being pushed back, it was approaching the outlets closing time so I telephoned and was advised my food was out for delivery and would be with me shortly. Food arrived around 11:20 and was delivered by the same lady who’d taken the call when I telephoned, she was very rude when I questioned the cat she told me my food was on its way and the factI’d waited over 2 hours. Food itself was awful, it was cold and could tell the chicken had been sat under a hot plate for sometime, jalapeño flamers were tasteless and they forgot my drink. Requested a refund which has been refused, grounds for refusal were it was a busier evening than expected, after reading reviews on Just Eat, it became apparent this is a regular occurrence (which I had read them before ordering). Ordered Veggie Wrap... delivered as Chicken. Waited two and a half hours for the delivery on Friday. We ordered a Chicken Burger for my self and a veggie Wrap for my girlfriend. Which when she bit into, turned out to be a chicken wrap. This is the first time she's eatten any meat in 8 years, she was upset and disgusted. Called up immediately to complain but this was after 10pm so the restaurant was closed.

Rather than leave a bad review straight away I called the restaurant once it was open yesterday. I was told I would receive a call back once the person had spoken to the owner. Haven't had a call back. No refund offered just an quick apology from the person on the phone who's fault this...
