I got the steakhouse carpaccio to start, my friend got the bon bons special (the ingredients change every week so this one had lamb) - both starters were top notch! If you're looking for one of the best beef carpaccio's ever, this is the place to go!

Next I had the 12oz ribeye (cooked medium rare), mushroom stilton sauce, chunky chips, and salt and pepper veg. I know reading this it sounds like a weird combination and it might have been so my partner ate the vegetables and said they were nice. The steak and sauce on the other hand...5 stars! Cooked to perfection and flavourful!

For dessert I had the deep fried cheesecake. Now dessert is not normally my thing as I prefer savory products but this cheesecake was not overly sweet, and it's almost as though the ingredients were calculated for perfection as it all blended so well together.

Great food, ambiance and service, would recommend. Our party ordered for starters, halloumi fries, the sharing platter for two, garlic prawns (comes on a slice of tiger bread, which we found a bit odd), salt and pepper ribs, which were all delicious. The steaks (all ribeye), we’re delicious and cooked to perfection finished with garlic butter. The chicken tahini burgers were also tasty. The ‘steak’ burger however, was disappointing as it was very fine mince densely compacted lacking in texture and in flavour. This was highlighted to the waitress who without question removed it from the bill and offered the option to select an alternative dish. Very shabbily treated by an inexperienced unprofessional young manager. My wife for a piece of steak lodged in her gullet, this has happened before so she knew what to do. Never in any danger but tried to wash it down with water. She went to the ladies on three occasions but nothing worked. On the third time this manager came over and accused her of being drunk and of being sick both all over the toilet and restaurant. Quite clearly she hadn't as there was nothing to see. He asked us to leave, my wife was perfectly sober and had neither drank her drink or eaten her meal. He put us in an extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing position.
