I was so looking forward to this sit in meal with my boyfriend for our date night. I was left so so disappointed. The service was TERRIBLE. Our waiter was rude, huffy and it made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. No water was offered to us no extra napkins, no customer service at all 😔 As for the food. The poppadoms were bland and the pickle tray was tiny with a tasteless yellow yogurt sauce, mild mango chutney and a little pot of onions. Not enough for the poppodums. Again a massive disappointment. The sharing platter starter meat was chewy, the mini onion bahjis were like rocks. Awful for £16. The main dish was bland with 5 tiny pieces of chicken in it. Ordered chicken butter dish and lamp korma literally meat was just 4 pieces and not even fresh. And sause(gravy) was just so sweet with no flavour. Its bland taste. Keema naan had no keema just flavour keema. Waste of money.. so much better indian restaurant if u want real Indian food who gave them 4 star here and fooled me to visit the... wasted 30 pounds for chicken butter (4pc of chicken cubes), lamp korma (4pc pf lamp cubes) , 2 naan (thin bread slices 2 cut into 4 pc) a coke, and apple juice. £30. Went here for take away 22/11/2020 food was amazing!! So glad I trusted the google reviews. I do have to say tho the FB pics do not do this food here justice. I am not fussy with food, I just do not like paying over the odds for food that has just been knocked together and flung in microwave. This food was genuinely full of flavour and so tasty. We normally travel to Manchester to get a decent curry. Finally found a takeaway we like. Let's hope it meets same standard each visit. Sorry no pics - food was quaffed before we got the chance!!
