I have searched for decent Nihari all across England in various cities. It’s very hard to find some decent Nihari. I was truly pleasantly surprised trying the Beef Nihari here. Liverpool in general isn’t the greatest for food so trying this place was really refreshing. So far I’ve tried their Nihari, Biryani, Korma and Chicken Achari. I would really recommend their food if you’re feeling a bit homesick and want some homemade style food. The overall spice levels were mild which is fine so that everyone can enjoy it regardless of your personal preference. I usually like my flavours intense and super hot and spicy but regardless the flavours were all there I enjoyed their food and have no complaints. The portion sizes are pretty good. The food seems fresh. The other good thing I noticed was that there was no base gravy flavour like in most commercial places which makes all the food taste the same. Each dish had its own unique flavour profile which is good. I really hope that the owners can maintain the consistency which is normally hard to maintain as time goes on. All the best !

£8 for a beef curry which is the same price I pay for a similar sized lamb curry from other takeaways. Originally ordered the lamb curry (mild) but they were out so recommended this. I double checked that it was also mild and they confirmed. What I got was a microwaved (in front of me) thin curry with a few massive chunks of meat (so they were quite dry, no sauce penetrated and very lean) with several pieces of fresh chilli and large chunks of mostly raw ginger. Nothing else in the curry. It was incredibly spicy but not particularly tasty. I did get given a small pot of Raita but it did not make any difference. Was not expecting a freshly made curry but it was not very filling (had with rice) and wasn't even as good as I would make at home. It was home-style Pakistani "authentic" but not a great version. Disappointing as I wanted to support a smaller local business.

I usually don’t post reviews but I have to do whatever I can to promote these people because this was honestly the best Desi food Ive eaten here in Liverpool. I am an Indian who was born and raised in Qatar. I came to Liverpool September 2024, so food has been an issue for me personally because food in Qatar is insanely good, a lot of Pakistani restaurants and people, I had many Pakistani friends growing up, so Pakistani food is not new or foreign to me at all! Today I was missing home extra and wanted some comfort food. I hopped on Uber and started browsing restaurants. I started doing this thing recently where I check Google reviews before choosing a restaurant. I stumbled upon this gold mine of a restaurant, checked google reviews - amazing reviews! So I finalized on them, ordered: Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Boneless Lamb Pulao, Lamb Samosa, Soji Halwa and Pepsi (the pepsi never came through tho, was missing :( Rating: Chicken Tikka Masala: although imo it wasn’t a chicken tikka masala, it was definitely a good curry on its own. I don’t think it’s chicken tikka masala, but it felt like a very homely chicken curry! Loved it. 8/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Naan: Proper pakistani roti, loved it. It was so soft and authentic. 8.5/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lamb Pulao: Star of the night. What a banger of a dish. We devoured the dish. 2 huge pieces of fatty lamb, this very arabic pashtun flavored rice and some yogurt chutney. This was probably the best pulao ive ever had. I can’t wait to order this again. 100% recommend. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mutton Samosa: The second best dish of the night. I could eat a 100 of these. My only complain is that they aren’t enough for the price. I wont give full points just for that. But taste wise - 10/10. Another suggestion would be a separate chutney for the samsosas. Something slightly sweet or tangy - would be a game changer. But yeah, Im definitely coming back for the samosas, again some of the best Ive ever had. 9.5/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Soji Halwa: This was a texture treat in my mouth. So buttery and delicious! Incredible. Love the quantity! Felt so homely - like a warm hug! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall, I give this place a 9.5/10 or a 10/10 honestly. I am a huge fan, and a lifelong customer! Cant wait to come back for more. Im going to sleep like a baby tonight. Thankyou Noor’Jaan for the most loving meal Ive eaten in Liverpool....

Forgive me for playing into my main character syndrome for a little bit, but having lived away from my family for about 3 years now, ordering from here has been like an 'anywhere door' of sorts; it's taken me home and back without an expensive plane ride! This is as authentic as it gets, and I'd say it's very, very difficult to beat the food served at this kitchen.

I tried the chicken biryani, the lamb curry with rice, and naan as well. Nothing to complain, everything was perfectly done, very well served! The biryani was packed with flavours, chicken was very well marinated, and the lamb was as fatty and condensed with its own flavour as you'd expect from our part of the world - the meat was 'melting to touch' in texture.

All in all, 5/5. For that affordable price, for that quantity, they also managed to throw in a free drink with a handwritten note saying 'Complimentary'.

Restaurants toh saare yaha theek hai, lekin ghar jaisa badhiya khaana aapko chaahiye, vo bhi turant, aur kifaayti daamo mein, toh phir janaab, isse badhiya option mujhe toh nahi pata.

Thank you for the experience, first of...
