ON THE GO — Restaurant in Liverpool

Amazing little halal food place. We used the bus service go get here and back to our hotel. Firstly if you are new to the neighbourhood this place is in one of those little hut style shops alongside the falafel place, a coffee shop (Cafetarie Al-Yemen) and a few others so you don’t need to walk that far from the main road to find it. We grabbed the first available table (there’s no indoor eating space-it’s all outdoors and shared with the other businesses). The food was amazing. We tried three different variations of the Korean corndogs as well as having tue spicy Mac and cheese and Texas dirty fries. The portions are generous so with this in mind I would suggest you order things like the Mac and cheese to share rather than as a side to your dogs. Food came out fairly quickly. It was all lovely. Beautiful food, brilliant prices & exceptional service, went above & beyond. Both the brother & sister served us with smiles & proffesionalism. Due to us not checking the closing times, we didn't realise we were served out of service times, but we were still served with a smile 😀 Enjoying every bit of our food we still hadn't realised we were sat there after closing times until we asked, and not once did the owner rush us in any way in fact he kindly reassured us to continue eating ( amazing service , thank you ) the food was delicious, very flavoursome & great in price & halal 🤌🏼 we would definitely recommend & will be back very soon ! Placed an order at 19:29 on 20/07/25. Unfortunately, the drink was missing from my order.

I also ordered the half-and-half original hot dog, but it was mostly cheese with only a small amount of hot dog, which was disappointing.

I understand they were quite busy, and it seems there may have been some miscommunication between staff, which could explain the mix-up. I would have checked the order or gone back, but I was already running late for my night shift.

It’s not a major issue—I do enjoy their menu—but I hope they can improve internal communication to ensure orders are accurate and complete...
