Horrendous awful experience from absolutely awful zero customer service from staff who lack basic Common Sense and Manners and understanding how to run an eating establishment. They expect you to ask you if you want plates to eat off after they bring out the curry and you have to ask for salad despite the menu says you will get salad with your lamb chops and you have to ask several times and they will come and slam the items on to your table with no courtesy no smile no politeness. In fact if you raise an issue what are you going to request another glass of water they will deny it they will start to insults you be rude impolite and even swear at the women customers being totally unwarranted. I don't recommend this place for anyone it is an awful place to go to enjoy dinner. This is not the place for civilised people to go to they have no hospitality at this place and I don't recommend anyone to go to this place this is better to go somewhere else where you will get better customer service catering quality and care and consideration with respect as a human being let alone a customer or even an animal. I was my first time and this place and it will certainly be my last at such a Neanderthal place. A disgraceful place to be called a restaurant - not even befitting to serve to animals...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSakoon used to be our favourite takeaway for many years. Unfortunately there has been a lot of changes made to the food. The portions particularly for the lamb qasi are smaller. The potato stew that comes with it was so salty it was not edible.
We ordered the mixed kebab today and it was 90% very dry chicken and 10% dry lamb. Photo attached. The chips are never properly cooked anymore. Soggy white things, they're awful. The worst part of it all is we tell them to fry them for longer, burn it if you will but no - still uncooked chips.
The roast chicken also has some weird sweet spicy sauce put on it at the end. Almost like a jamaican jerk chicken. Why? It's a middle eastern cafe.
Anyway today we gave up after so many let downs from Sakoon. The old Sakoon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe wanted to go into KO next door, unfortunately very busy so we opted for sakoon. The food was cheap and that was reflected in the quality of the food. Ordered some curries didnāt even taste like curry. Very watered down type of flavour. Whilst dinning there one of the chef was smoking in the kitchen discreetly. I will be contacting the environmental health officer along with the video I have taken and will pass onto them. The restaurant seriously needs to improve the health and safety. Not impressed and will not be returning. Good luck to any...
