I am a 25 year old Lebanese who studied in London then moved to Barcelona for work. I have been living in Europe for the past few years and I tried many if not all the lebanese restaurants in London and Barcelobna, but I never really felt at home until I tried Ô Gourmet Libanais. Located in Battersea Reach, the restaurant is a few meters away from the river Thames. In addition to the pictureque grounds, the waterside area has excellent transport links (Bus stops, clapham Junction, or even river bus). I got the chance to meet the owner and the manager. The owner and most of the staff are lebanese and they have been living in the UK for a long period of time and working in the catering industry. Now the food!!! 1-The bread: authentic lebanese bread, served freshly baked. This one deserves more than 5*. 2-The hot and cold Mezza: hummus, labneh, falafel, sambousik, grilled halloumi, tabbouleh were all excellent. They even serve Beirut Beer! 3- We also tried the mouhalabieh for dessert, and it was better than the one we do at home. 4-Service was excellent throughout, the staff spoke fluent English and lebanese/arabic. The manager is very friendly and made us feel welcome. He also spoke turkish and french. Everyone was very hospitable, polite and attentive. Conclusion: A must try for all the lebanese cuisine fans in London! I will definitely come back when I visit London to try...

Come to O Gourmet Libanais for a dining experience where exceptional food meets outstanding service. From the moment you walk in, you’re enveloped in a calming atmosphere, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal. The warm ambience, paired with soft relaxing music in the background, creates the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the company of friends and family. There is only one word to describe the food: delicious. Each dish transports you on a culinary journey straight to Lebanon. The traditional dishes are simple yet authentic and beautifully refined, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine. The meat is seasoned to perfection. This is especially true in the Maqlouba, where the meat is so tender it falls off the bone at the lightest touch. While the food and atmosphere set a high standard, what truly elevates the experience is the service. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel like a cherished guest in their home. Their warmth and kindness made the evening feel special, turning a great meal into an unforgettable adventure. I recommend O Gourment Libanais to anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience, you will...

Truly disappointed to not able to give more than 5 stars!

What started as a disappointing evening quickly turned into a fantastic one, thanks to Ô Gourmet Libanais. After stopping by a a pub in Wandsworth with terrible service and a dull atmosphere, we were just hoping to salvage the night—but this place completely turned it around.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and tastefully done—comfortable but still stylish. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they’re offering.

The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care, but the falafel was the real standout. I’ve had falafel many times before, but never like this: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. Honestly, the best I’ve ever had.

By the end of our meal, we had completely forgotten the rough start to the evening and were already talking about coming back. Ô Gourmet Libanais truly impressed us with their incredible food, excellent service, and relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly...

Service - was OK but rather odd how the waiter kept trying to push us to order more food. Four of us, not very hungry but were wanting to try a range of hot mezze dishes. Ordered 6 dishes between us as well as desserts and bill being well over £100 so I could not understand why the waiter was being so persistent we order more food... felt rather impolite, especially as dishes were rather on the expensive side and we were not super hungry to justify paying that much. Waiter did not question the orders of other customers. He also could not hear what I was saying (my voice is loud enough) and I had to keep repeating the table's order. Food - average. Meat was good quality but still it was overpriced for what you get. If I'm paying £13 for lamb kibbeh I at least expect some sauce... dishes reasonably tasty but very dry without any accompaniments so not justified in how expensive they are. Lebanese coffee was £5, again it was OK but nothing gourmet about it. Would not go here again, because prices are unreasonable and the waiter was just too pushy with wanting us to buy more.

Want to experience a game changer?? Try their liver starter. Seriously. I’ve been a ‘liver-hater’ ALL MY LIFE and at the age of 40 I begrudgingly tried a tiny slice….and then went back for a proper helping!! It is cooked in such a way it melts in your mouth (no chewiness here) and the light sauce that it is cooked in is AMAZING. I’m converted….to (THIS) liver …(sorry mum 😉). I would go again just for the mezze too…gorgeous humous, fresh bread…yum. Oh and the waiter gave us a bottle of rosé at a discounted price! Very sweet guy, lovely atmosphere. The only thing I need to comment on is that the mousaka is not how you might expect. Its basically a bowl of stew (tomatoes, aubergine and chickpeas) cooked really well…but not the mousaka I was expecting (no cheese, no structure..) but very nice all the same and accompanied our main dish of mixed grill extremely well. Portions are MASSIVE and we totally over ordered for 4 women.
