Zarzour Restaurant: A Taste of Iraq in London

If you’re looking for an authentic Iraqi dining experience in London, look no further than Zarzour Restaurant. This gem has quickly established itself as the go-to destination for anyone craving traditional Iraqi cuisine, and it certainly lives up to the hype.

One of the standout dishes at Zarzour is undoubtedly the bajeh. This flavorful delicacy is prepared to perfection, showcasing the rich and aromatic spices that are characteristic of Iraqi cooking. Each bite is a delightful explosion of taste, and it’s clear that the chefs at Zarzour take immense pride in their craft.

The service at Zarzour is equally commendable. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with warmth and hospitality. One staff member, Yasmin, deserves special mention for her exceptional service. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile ensure that guests feel welcome and valued. Whether you need recommendations or have dietary restrictions, Yasmin is there to assist with a smile.

Moreover, the presentation of the dishes is nothing short of impressive. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully arranged to enhance the dining experience. The attention to detail in both the food and the service reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence.

In a city as diverse as London, Zarzour stands out as the best Iraqi restaurant. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience that transports you to the heart of Iraq with every delicious bite. If you’re in the area, make sure to visit Zarzour for an unforgettable culinary journey that combines exceptional food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere. You won’t be...

Nothing short on Amazing! I want to break this down into a few sections!

My order: Large Shish Kebab - £14 Cheese/Meat Bourak - £5.50 Coke Zero

Atmosphere - The atmosphere is so relaxing and calming, it feels like you’re in the middle east (I’m from the middle east, trust me I know) the interior is something that you will find in an restaurant in Iraq and the staff are super friendly, they are attentive to your needs as well.

Food - I am going to break this down in terms of what I ordered.

Shish Kebab - SPECTACULAR! I have never ever had a kebab like this in my whole entire life. The meat was so soft and well cooked it made me rethink of all the shish kebabs I have had in my entire life and this was the best kebab HANDS DOWN! I really recommend this place to anybody who wants an quality kebab for a good price!

Cheese/Meat Bouraka - FRESH! You can actually taste the freshness of then pastry and the ingredients that they provide and it was nothing short of delicious - Really recommend this!

Coke Zero - Lovely drink - What can I say?

Iraqi Bread - MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THIS! High quality & Great bread!

This restaurant definitely deservers more recognition in my opinion &...

The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Opening times are in the menu link. The restaurant is clean and tidy. They serve a variety of kebab, starters, lamb dishes, kids menu, various drinks. They offer a lunchtime deal £4 lamb wrap. The wrap was delicious, slightly spicy, very tasty. They take credit cards. The restaurant has about 6 tables, it appears fairly spacious, nice layouts on each table, and a counter where you can read neatly designed menus and order food. The two ladies who were serving were helpful and patient. They were polite and humble. There was a nice atmosphere and a video screen playing kids videos in the middle of the afternoon with some kids in the restaurant. The toilets, one male, one female are clean and tidy.

A truly authentic Iraqi experience in the heart of Cricklewood. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and cooked to order. Honestly, it’s some of the best Iraqi cuisine we’ve had anywhere in London. We especially loved the kebab and the quzi — this place is a real hidden gem. The staff are incredibly attentive and welcoming, making you feel right at home. From the comforting lentil soup to the jacik, bamia, and fasolia, every dish felt like it was made with care. The people here are as wonderful as the food. And we can’t forget the khobuz (bread) — warm, fluffy, topped with sesame and a drizzle of olive oil — easily one of the best we’ve ever tried! -9.5/10-
