You wouldn't want to live next to the temple. It's Noisy and the causes parking problems in the area. I have boys and girls from the temple coming on to my property, behind my building and smoking. When I ask them move off my property they say "we are only smoking". I don't know if it is the religions teaching to disrespect other peoples property but I very much doubt it. I am sure the temple wouldn't like it if I came and smoked outside their front doors. Usually the boys will move when asked but the girls will normally hurl abuse when asked not to smoke in my back garden.

I have been doing more walking (for exercise) sinse the lockdown and came across this wonderful temple. Apart from the beautiful building, I was so touched by the wonderful messages of thanks, dedicated to the NHS and all key workers, during this difficult time, which were spread across the railings and gates, made by the children. Such a fabulous gesture of appreciation. I hope, one day, I will be able to visit inside Shree Swaminarayan Temple.

A very beautiful place. It’s the first Hindi temple I’ve ever visited. It happened to be an event to unveil the memorial for the founder of this temple. The people here were incredibly friendly and nice. Girls came to me to introduce me this place and their culture. It’s amazing to see how overseas Indian community preserve and pass on their religion and culture. They gave me some delicious snacks when I left.

A wonderful experience visiting the Swaminarayan Temple. The architecture is stunning and truly unique. I was warmly welcomed by the volunteers – one kind elder patiently explained the history, activities, and meaning behind the decorations, which made the visit very enriching for me as a foreigner not deeply familiar with Indian culture. On my way out, I also spoke with Mr. Patel, another volunteer, who kindly shared more about the temple. Overall, a memorable visit thanks to both the breathtaking architecture and the generosity of the...
