The Beaten Docket London — Restaurant in London

Today I was waiting in the queue for more than 20 min at the bar to get some pints and food and the suddenly this lady appear and jump the queue and said to the blonde barman that she was first ,but she didn’t queue you can check they CCTV, 007/07/2025 8:56PM , the I said to the barman that I was there for 20 min and the tattooed lady just arrive and the barman said to me in a very aggressive way to calm down! 😀😅 so I think he was in love with the tattooed lady who jumped the queue, very bad and aggressive attitude towards a regular client. I would not leave this bad review if he will said sorry or something but he treated that lady so well , smiling to her even if she was doing something bad and not nice and the me… who I was there humble waiting to be served he was acting like I was wrong ! So even after I told him that I was next in the queue and that lady just appeared, he still chose to serve first that person not me This is m guy first time leaving a review and no I m a regular at this Wererspoon , I have nothing against to wait for long time to get a pint or food but if a person will jump the queue and she will be treated so well and I will receive aggressive treatment just because I said that I was next in the queue this is very bad. I was coming there for the last 2 years always waiting for the food and beer and never complain,I saw 3 persons fighting just next to me but still not complaining but today was just too much . Jazey London 217 Reviewed 1 week ago Unexpected local gem! I have lived in Cricklewood for 15 years and had never visited the local Wetherspoon’s (The beaten docket) due to totally one prejudged idea of what to expect from central London Wetherspoons.

The reality is Beaten docket has now enabled me and obviously from a number of regulars seen here, drink and eat out at the same price cost to purchase from an off-licence. With ample seating throughout the bar is particularly popular with single people enjoying a place they can drink in a social atmosphere rather than alone. Large rose at £2.30 and mini bottle at £2.99 has made this the most affordable Christmas ever!

Food-wise , expect the unexpected. I.e. the lasagne is not splattered over the plate by microwave, the burgers are juicy, famous and great value, steak with a drink for under £10, even less on Tuesdays in steak has now become an unaffordable treat.

The staff soon recognise and build rapport with you when you become a regular. They seem to enjoy their job to which adds to the great atmosphere. Particular thanks go to the floor walker already previously mentioned on reviews.

I'm not a weatherspoons person but my friend who's European loves these places, like alot do, because of the cheap prices. It made me chuckle because the meat burger with trimmings was £6 something.... the same, but Vegetarian, was about £10 more so that shot him (us) in the foot. We were getting penalised for not wanting to eat an animal that's been killed. The food wasn't cheap if you don't eat meat. Its worn, rough and ready. Drunks are allowed to be served, even though it's illegal, (and there were many) but dogs are not allowed inside or outside, even though my dog is both cleaner than the venue and alot of the people there. We came for a cheap lunch and we left having spent over £30 for a burger and soft drink, in an environment that didn't match the price we paid. I personally cannot find a situation that this place is an option for me to visit but I guess if cheap beer is your only requirement then you are...
