This delightful, small space, is called Mapesbury Dell and is nestled in amongst houses, off Hovenden Road. It has been loved and cared for, by one lady, for many years, who keeps it looking beautiful and well maintained, all year around. It is a peaceful, calm, little garden and small green, ideal for local people to bring toddlers. People often turn up, with a book, or a cup of coffee, just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the high street (Cricklewood Broadway). There is a lovely, small, gated play area, for toddlers, which includes a Pirate Ship to climb, along with a couple of swings. It really is a beautiful, little oasis. If you visit, dogs must be kept on leads, no music to be played and no barbeques. And please put any pieces of litter you need to dispose of, in one of the many bins provided. It is a shame that some seem to think dogs on leads notices don't apply to them and it is ok for their children to spoil flower beds and borders .I have now witnessed this visiting the park on several early mornings with my dog .such a shame .I value this beautiful place that is a gift and hope...

I took my nephew here & he had such a great time in the lovely kids play area, all Peter Pan/Captain Hook themed. I feel really grateful to have this area locally & look forward to using this...
