Unfortunately, the staff at this establishment are ill equipped with manners, grace or hospitality and are extremely misogynistic and crudely spoken. After a long and tiring day I had hoped to bring a treat home and popped in. I asked for kebab and lahmacun. The kebab pieces were miniscule. But I persevered, the main offence was yet to come.
I pleasantly inquired whether they could include some of the condiments and sauces displayed, to my takeaway. It's a perfectly normal request nothing too taxing. But apparently so, cos the server made me repeat myself a number of times before grumpily acquiescing.
He seemed to struggle with listening to a woman’s wants and as I was leaving sneered at me that I wanted and asked for too much and did I want the shop as well? On and on. I was stunned and bewildered. It was full on intimidation.

Read moreVery busy restaurant during the weekend just like any other in green lane. But this restaurant is a bit on the quieter side of green lane compared to Wood Green and the staff are good and welcoming. Had the lamb casserole and it was just superb. The grill ribs were good as well. Just like there are differences in Indian currys similarly I’ve notice there is differences in Middle Eastern kebabs. The meat is the same but depends with what spices it was marinated. This brings out the taste and flavour in the kebab. Turkish, Moroccan, Kurdish have all different taste to kebabs. I can say the kebab here in Adana is equal with Gokyuzu restaurant which I thought was the best kebab so far. But Adana has proved to be the same taste if not a bit better. This restaurant is not very big like Gokyuzu but locals love this place when it comes to kebab. I would recommend this to kebab lovers who want to have a great evening with family and friends. Parking is off street but it’s residence. Only free after I guess it’s 8 pm...
