Based on our experience this lunchtime it seems like the rude landlady is still in occupation! Upon entering we were ushered to a table, abruptly, and told where and what the children in our group could or could not do. Perhaps not the most friendly of welcomes.... ...however this list of do's and don't's did not include the touching of menus - but we were soon put to rights when she shot from behind the bar to verbally chastise one of the children for daring to pick up a food menu from the table top! Also overall pub was fairly quiet so we could hear each other. Would definitely visit...

Their Flint Eye been was nice and refreshing although I felt a little guilty drinking during lunch, but what the hell I said, twas vacation and their beer so marketed so heavily I had to try. By the time we left, the pub was filled with no seats left so I felt like a trendsetter eh?
Well mates , to sum up this story I think you should...
