Unfortunately our experience was short and awful. Firstly It’s necessary to say I appreciate everyone can have a bad day and working in a busy environment is not easy- however the lady on shift last night (16.12.23) was the most rude person I have ever come across. Everything started with a very pleasant phone call with a gentleman in the afternoon who managed to squeeze us is for a table for 3 between 7:15 and 7:30 pm. On arrival we were greeted by an extremely rude lady who as soon as we stepped started say repeatedly “we are fully booked, you have to go” I then finally had a chance to say we actually had a booking, once she was done with her ranting. Once again, did not give me a chance to explain that yes our table was booked at 7:30 however I had a conversation in the afternoon where I was explained that the table frees at 7:15 and 10/15 minuted are needed to clear up the table. Now I wish I had a chance to explain that, all she kept on doing was aggressively pointing it out the time as we were 10 minutes early and repeating “you have to leave and come back” all while pointing at the door. It was extremely embarrassing as everyone around us was watching this awful scene. Needless to say, I asked her to cancel the table as I have no intention of being served by her nor give my money to a place that treat customers with so much rudeness. Shame as we were really looking forward to enjoy the food, we hope to come back when is she is no longer there as I am sure she does not reflect the standard of service Arabesque...

We have been regular customers for quite a long time and have always been really happy with the food, atmosphere and service. However, over the last couple of months the quality of the chicken has really deteriorated (we gave it a second chance but it hasn’t improved) and now we no longer want to eat it. Not sure what has happened and can only imagine it’s quality deflation since the prices haven’t been put up despite recent food price inflation. Also noticed the grill chef has changed, not sure if that is connected to a change in meat supplier. We would have been much happier paying more if the quality of the meat had been maintained or even if they had reduced portion size rather than reduced quality of meat.

The waitress is really hard working and friendly and has a photographic memory when taking orders. Of course she wouldn’t have had a say in the change of meat supplier and we would appeal to the owner to go back to the original supplier and just put up the prices to reflect it. Skimping on quality will have an effect on customer over the longer term.
