Swiss Cottage open space — Attraction in London

I go here often. İt should be an incredible space, it has all the potential. İnstead it's stream with cigarette buts and general rubbish. The drinks fountain has been off for the last few weeks, which is shameful for a kids play fountain in the current heat wave. Plumbing is simple, just fix it and turn it on. İt's terrible to do that to kids. Lazy staff take some intitiative FFS. This place should and could be an incredible local resource, instead it's yet another neglected space.

It lives up to its name of being an open space despite its small size. However, due to being located in a busy part of London, you won’t get the most peaceful experience with all the traffic noises. I would say that the main draw of this area is the trees. Great place for the community to gather and enjoy good weather. It's beautiful in spring and family fun in summer. If there was more on in autumn and winter I'd give it 5 stars. As it is, there's already a children's playground, a bookable 5 a side pitch, access to the library, leisure centre with pool, GP surgery, community centre cafe, Hampstead Theatre, and fountains loved by dogs and kids alike with grassy banks to sit on and...
