Sushi & More on Finchley Road is an authentic home cooking Korean and Japanese restaurant run by a lovely couple.
From the street it does not look particularily authentic but once inside you can either pick sushi and Korean side dishes from the large refrigirator unit or order a freshly cooked dish. Price wise and compared to other places serving sushi including Yo Sushi (in the 02 Centre) and Waitrose, it is good value with a six piece salmon and avocado at £4.45. Unlike other options, Sushi & More also offers Korean dishes.

The chilli oil is home-made with leeks before added to the spicy beef short-rib soup (called yookgyejang) and tastes even better than in Korea. Sushi is fresh and cheap. What makes this place is definitely the smiley and welcoming owner who clearly takes pride in her food! Just wish it was open...
