Food tastes great and the customer service is spot-on!

Ordered the mixed chicken platter and the twix milkshake earlier this week: Chicken portions were a decent size, and they tasted amazing. They don't ask you for a spice level however, though I would say it's around 'medium'. Peri peri chips were fried to perfection, they gave a nice crisp bite. Some pieces were a bit too salty though, if they could thoroughly mix the seasoning more then that'd be great. They gave me the wrong size for the sides. That being said, they did just open and mistakes do happen, so I just noted it down for my next visit. Milkshake tasted great, would personally prefer it if it was a bit thicker.

Ordered the strip burger and oreo milkshake earlier this evening: Strip burger tasted alright, nothing particularly special, but definitely better texture-wise than some other local fried chicken places. Told them about my previous order where I got smaller sides, they apologised and upgraded my order for free. Much appreciated on that! Oreo milkshake once again tasted great, still prefer it to be a bit thicker. They actually put mini marshmallows on top of the whipped cream, but it's pretty difficult to get any of them since they barely fit in the straw they provided.

Overall, really impressed with the restaurant. Hope they manage to stay consistent with their food quality and customer service, would really be a shame to see them go, and I mean it - too many establishments just seem to come and go in that...

First of all, let me start off with the amazing customer service. There’s usually only one guy at the front desk and he is always attentive to detail. When someone says they’re attentive to detail most of the time it’s not true and it’s said to appeal to the interviewer. This man, however, said this in the interview and actually meant it! I remember how once my mum was looking for a napkin and he was zooming across the room to give her them. Truly appreciate such hard and caring workers!

Second of all, the food is genuinely so good and has a reasonable price for everything. Good quality food for affordable prices, couldn’t ask for more. And on top of that this is located in London. London and affordable food shouldn’t be in the same sentence but it is in this case. My family is a regular at this restaurant and I would 100% recommend Ashes.

Third and final point is the aesthetic of the place. When I first saw it I was awestruck. You can tell the owner put a good penny on the decoration of the shop. I would recommend all my aesthetic Pinterest girlies to come to this shop and take...

I would give them 0 star if I can. I ordered 2 pizzas and 1 chicken wing through Deliveroo. After making an order, the rider couldn't be tracked on the app, because the driver is hired from the restaurant. I was a little bit worried because I don't know when it will arrive but I just waited. The ETA of delivery was 8:30 pm and I requested outside meeting and started to wait outside from 8:30 but they didn't arrive until 9pm.
