This is the place where i have been eating from last two years as though am an international student i feel like eating a South Indian homely food ..staff are very friendly over there..they are very kind aswell. Service is very fast.... There is guy who serves very fresh and well cooked food.. & That guy is me😁😁😁 who am referring to...i have worked there before....

But sincerely i can say WHITE HORSE FISHERIES Is only king in East London for fresh fish , chips and our wings are juicy🤤🤤🤤

I only ever get large cod and medium chips from here.

The large cod is always freshly cooked and takes about 7 minutes. The batter used is quite a heavy one, which is to my liking, and is always nice and crispy. The standard size cod is cooked in batches and so might have been waiting around for a while, but if you opt for that your visit will be much quicker. The quality of the thick cut chips varies, but they are only very occasionally too soggy for my liking and the portion is very generous.

Great food at a great price. This is our "Fish and Chips Fridays" most weeks because it does some of the best fish and chips in town and many places outside town. Chips are usually fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fish is large (even the medium) meaty on the inside coated in a light batter that isn't soaking in oil.
