Asiatique Thai - Battersea — Restaurant in London

Absolutely delighted to have held my fathers 85th birthday at Asiatique Battersea. Tony was incredibly quick and efficient in getting the booking done over email. They are pet friendly which is the main reason why we booked here so we could have our fur baby with us in the celebrations. They gave us decorations which made the ambiance of the restaurant and our table seating even more special The food was delicious, beautifully presented, top quality & they catered a La carte menu for our party of 15. No request was too much for Tony and his team. Fortunately as it was lunchtime it was a touch quieter, so we had a big chunk of the restaurant to ourselves The food was delicious The drinks were flowing from the cocktails to champagne I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you’re looking for a personalised service, with exquisite food, drinks & ambiance. It’s 20mins from Battersea Power Station which is buzzing with things to do if you fancy a stroll up their after an excellent experience at Asiatique

Was meeting some friends after ages and we had planned to go to an Italian place but it was shut when we arrived. We started walking towards Battersea Power Station and 20 steps in found this restaurant. With 2 elderly couples enjoying a nice laugh we walked in! Elaborate menu, kind Anthony served us. It was a Friday evening and the food was delicious! The only drawback was that their were only two people to serve/ take orders etc so when the restaurant got busy it got harder to trace Anthony’s attention. Cut to the food:

We had Som Tum, veggie spring rolls , vegetarian Pad thai. My friends had non veg options. Decent quantity, beautiful cutlery and tasty food! I had a gin n gingerale and it all matched perfectly. We spent 87£ total! Lil expensive but...

I don't really like to leave a bad review, I work in hospitality, and I always try to understand what's going wrong if I'm not happy in my dinner experiences. There was just one poor waiter walking around a full restaurant and doing everything by himself. All the tables were dirty, waiting so long for food and when we got our main course it was very disappointing, the smell of the fish was orribile, I have no idea of how you can send that dish to the tables. Of course, I had to stend up with the plate and go to the waiter, explaining the situation he said sorry and changed our food. In the end, we didn't even get our drinks, and there was no discount, nothing offered on our bill. Very very disappointed.
