Bavarian Village — Restaurant in London

Very disappointed with this place.. especially the way we was treated today, we came by to grab food on their self ordering screen which gives you a receipt that you have to hand to the staff to make your food. Our friends ticket didn’t print, we asked a lady for help, she ignored us, when asked again she pointed to another worker and told us to go around, when we told him, he started pointing to other staff and when going to them they kept sending us away to other staff!! This kept going on for 10mins. We then ended up speaking to another worker which I’m guessing she was the manger and was absolutely rude as she was just smirking the entire time as if it was funny?!! We asked could you help us and told us to wait behind the big queue of people ordering. We told her we ordered 10mins ago and have paid and isn’t our fault your machine didn’t print the receipt!! We showed her the picture of the transaction and she just kept telling us “to be quiet”!!? While also pointing her finger at me. We then thought it was enough and told her if you ain’t going to help us we want our refund back. First of, I think the atmosphere in the day is likely very different to that at night, from others reviews the atmosphere seems to be the most important thing. However I had to go in the daytime which I wouldn’t recommend. Despite it not being too busy the service wasn’t great, there was some training going on by the looks of it but the staff who were involved in this training just looked at us and didn’t tell us to go to another window, fortunately there was another member of staff who called us to another window who was really friendly, although when I asked for a pint for some reason they didn’t fill the cup all the way to the pint line (left about an inch off the top), we also got a mulled wine, but for some reason this was at best tepid despite it being hot elsewhere. The price of food is pretty extortionate too, I would highly recommend going to the street food area instead of buying a bratwurst, although I suppose this is to be expected. From my experience I would recommend going to a surrounding bar rather than the main circular bar as the smaller stalls seemed...

Overall it's a ~4 star venue, but it is the best Bavarian Village London has to offer. Great atmosphere, live music, band performance was amazing, warm cozy songs. England has won a game as well so vibe was excellent. Lots of beautiful people. I don't know why but a lot of people dress up like in a nightclub/night out, which isn't bad - cause they look good, so it's a pleasant atmosphere. Food is average, will do if you're drunk, ideally I'd say eat somewhere else and go there, or have a light day instead. It'll do if you're hammered, which I wasn't, cause it's Sunday, have some class people ;-).
