Firstly we are regular customers ! We usually go to the shop but if very tired we get delivered We have had two bad experiences now The first I put down to the delivery company but tonight’s order and delivery takes the biscuit I live round the corner I ordered food . Uber delivery guy very nice quick pleasant When I opened my order at paying over the odds I may add there was x1 fish minus I rang the shop and was told I had to ring Uber to get one piece of fish delivered . I said you can’t get an answer as there is no direct number for them and takes ages I asked as living round the corner could they deliver the fish I did not have . This request was declined . I was livid I asked for a mobile number so I could send a pic of my delivery This was declined . After being very persistent I was told
There were no drivers . They have loads on orders continually in and out of the shop !!!! I was told maybe it fell out in bag So the fish jumped out of a well tight wrapped fish tray that was wrapped by their staff not the delivery man ☹️🧐. They said we blamed them but how they know we’ll I think the latter is self explanatory don’t you When I insisted they deliver a fish to me asap the man who I know who it is laughed down the phone at me They delivered but I’m afraid I will be no longer using this shop . It has gone from being a lovely place with lovely staff and great food to being Overpriced lowered its standards and now rude staff
Considering when I collect fish at shop I always praise them chat to them have a lovely chat to them I am utterly dissatisfied disappointed sad and appalled at the terrible response and treatment and I will be finding an alternative shop from now in
All I got was a message from delivery man who was sweet and went out of his way to deliver the fish I should have got in the beginning is tell the lady we are short staffed . Well not my problem standards should never drop if they claim to be an award winning shop which they were .

Read moreFirstly I'd just like to say we are somewhat regulars. We have eaten in and collected to takeaway on many occasions. The food has always been great, the best chips in Harrow, on those occasions and the staff lovely and very helpful.
However on this occasion we ordered via a delivery service as had a group of people wanting to try for the first time. We were left very very disssapointed and they looked at me like I was crazy that these were the best chips in Harrow. They were not impressed.
The prices via the delivery service were quite a bit higher than in store, that's fine but we still expect the same quality atleast as we are paying more. We are 5 minutes drive away.
The chips were a massive let down. I usually would a sore them a 9/10 but these were a 4/10. They were soo bland. There was no salt or vinegar on any of the chips we ordered. They tasted soo bland. They were also a bit on the undercooked side and very squishy, could have done with a little more time, nowhere near the quality of chips we are used to getting.
The rest was pretty good except the burger which was very dry and didn't have any sauce on it.
Overall I really would not recommend getting delivery and instead going in person. The food quality for delivery is so very different. Who serves plain chips? The whole point is the salty and vinegar flavour and it is not like there was a box under each menu item to add in or aby check boxes to tick for no salt or vinegar and same with burger sauce. I will say the burger was cooked perfectly just needed sauce.
Won't be ordering again with delivery, just not worth it. Maybe if collecting in person, don't want to risk plain undercooked chips again.

Read moreDon’t bother ordering online thinking you will get a discounted price as they don’t honour the order even after taking the money when the order is placed online. So had to order in person after they insisted no order existed despite being given the order number and they then proceeded to charge way more than we originally paid for less as we had a piece of fish that had been requested left off the order. Tried to call about error with the order but they can’t even be bothered to answer the phone. All in all very shoddy customer service and in my opinion a total rip off. Not even nice food after all that hassle.
Part 2 - In response to your reply : No, no time did my cousin say it was a telephone order. YOU made that assumption. She showed you the order number and name but you didn’t check properly. Most places have a system in place to recognise an order number regardless of how the order is made. You clearly do not. I fail to see how a telephone order could have been made in the first place when you weren’t answering the phones and directing everyone to order online. No you didn’t speak to me on the phone. Your records should show I tried to call as I had a text from you at 19.23, which directed me to order online through your website. That doesn’t help when I wanted to speak to you about a wrong order. But you didn’t call me and you still haven’t. I maintain that I was overcharged as this was all your error. In my opinion, you saw an opportunity to get extra money for the order while and providing less than the original order.
