Read moreStopped in here for a quick breakfast whilst on business locally. The lady serving was polite and took my order quickly and food was served promptly. I went for a basic mushroom omelette and fries with coffee. No complaints with the food , service, price or even the restaurant itself which was clean with plenty of seating space.
Just one little niggle though and this is going to sound strange, its the cutlery ! The knife & fork were not balanced, when you went to cut into something the knife slipped sideways in your hand. I don't think it was cheap cutlery because it was heavy and appeared to be of good quality visually but practically like something bought from the market off Delboy.
Any how, that aside it won't deter me from returning...

I'm far from a regular, but I've sporadically wandered down here many times over as many years any time I've fancied a bit of charm and quality and it's never once disappointed.
The food is always delicious. The service is just exceptional - polite, attentive, real. In a world where appearance and superficial instagrammability rule supreme, authenticity and the opportunity to slow down is priceless. I always leave feeling refreshed.
