Chilled Gelato — Restaurant in London

Me and the wife popped in this place around 9pm to try the new place. Thinking as we like to try different places for food in the area it would be perfect to go for a dessert and a hot chocolate after dinner. I ordered an hot apple pie with custard, passion cheesecake and a hot chocolate. Unfortunately it was a very small slice of cheesecake that had something wrong with it as if it had been cut for a customer previously and left to dry out without covering. The apple pie with custard was still frozen in the middle even though I can see they put it in the microwave 3 times. This place would benefit if the can show the cheese cake slices before serving instead of it all coming out the deep freezer as it would put anyone off. Been there several times without our son who is allergic to all nuts...Took him today but a lot of cross contamination and had to not order and go to another ice cream place. We have been to several ice cream establishments where the nut containing icecreams are placed away from the nut free ones and hence reduces contamination. Here the scoops are also not separates and same water is used( aware the water is changed) but the water does get contaminated with remnants of a nutty ice cream and then when the scoop is rinsed in there and used for a non- nutty ice cream- there is transference of nut residue and hence a high risk of potential allergic reactions. There are notices there to inform the servers but the above recommendations should be considered to make the place a bit safer for people...

Omg This is the best one of your place I've ever ordered them in my life I am not going to lie the amount of times I've tried to take photos and post it on Google is unbelievable but I keep forgetting to because I keep eating it that's how amazing it is!!!!!!!! Ask for JOYCE she's honestly the best very understanding to dietary requirements. And all the other staff are all amazing and friendly and always welcoming I'm a weekly customer.
