Bliss Coffee — Restaurant in London

Bliss Coffee is a nice lunch spot, right between Wimbledon station and Wimbledon South tube station. They do decent flat whites, using beans from the excellent Allpress coffee roaster.

I was very happy when I found out that a new coffee shop supplied by Allpress opened around the corner of my office. Since Bliss Coffee launched, I have been heading there for lunch about once a week. Besides coffee, they also have a small lunch menu, mostly sandwiches, but also some other dishes.

The staff are very friendly and the place is bigger than it looks at first. It seems that Bliss Coffee quickly became a destination for locals either living or working in the neighbourhood.

Before Bliss Coffee opened, I found it hard to get a good flat white in my lunch break. Using Allpress beans, I think they are definitely one of the best coffee shops in Wimbledon. If you like good coffee and are nearby, don't look...

Would not advise coming here. On weekends the place is overrun with parents and children running around chaotically. People hogging tables for hours and hours and kids standing at the door playing games. Tables sticky and dirty where you have to repeatedly ask for them to be clean. Asked for mayonnaise, was given brown sauce then given butter. Even when i said that is butter she said no it was not. Good job i do not have food allergies.

This is not a place to go to unwind and or have a nice conversation with people. I know many people that have walked in and walked out again due to the noise. Not a way to...

Best coffee in the Wimbledon area (and possibly further afield!).

If you think Starbucks is the pinnacle of high street coffee then this place might not be for you. Otherwise this is the best coffee I have yet tasted south of the river, from the excellent Allpress roastery (in Shoreditch but I won't hold that against it). Smooth and tasty, not horribly bitter from over-roasting. It seems to have become justifiably popular with locals, which is good as it is a fair distance from any of the local tube or train stations.
