First and most important thing is that this place is very good and a much needed addition to Wimbledon. You can tell they care about the product and the service. Definitely go check them out. Because I want them to do well I’ll give a honest review of the food. The smash patties are really good - cooked very well, crisp edges while keeping some juice, and taste is nice and beefy. The bread is also nice, and a bit different from usual burger spots. It can be quite dense, so sometimes it’s a bit drying if you don’t get much sauce on your burger. The last bite sauce is indeed punchy, but that also means they don’t really have a classic cheeseburger type item - all three of their offered burgers are quite strong tasting in some way. The American cheese goes so well with the beef but it often just gets overpowered by the rest of the burger - ends up more like a flavoured burger than a cheeseburger. Unfortunately I do think they overseason quite often (3/4 out of burgers I’ve had and the fries) - both on salt and pepper. It’s not really bad by any means, but it just means sometimes the burger ends up quite salty, or very peppery which can overpower the rest of the burger, or both. I’ve even had an oversalted burger from bleecker so nowhere’s perfect. Finally, small things, the onions are not very consistently chopped, so you end up with random big pieces (maybe I was just unlucky), and I’m not a fan of how big they leave the pickle slices in the last bite, because you end up with loads of bites with none, and then a few bites with a huge chunk of pickle - but I think that’s probably personal preference. Anyway, these are all small things - the main offering is really good - and I’m only saying all this because I think this place has the potential to be great, not just good. I think if they tighten up their product and menu a bit it could go from just good in Wimbledon, to good in London. Hoping the best...
Read moreI recently checked out a new burger place near Polk Theatre, and it shows a lot of potential.
First off, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive — truly some of the friendliest service I’ve had in a while. Big points there.
I tried the Last Bite beef burger, Chicken Slaw, and Last Bite Fries. The burger patty was a bit too salty and could’ve used more juiciness. Also, I really think toasting or grilling the bun would elevate the whole burger — it would add texture and bring out more flavor. The Chicken Slaw was quite good — fresh and well-balanced — and the fries were excellent, crispy and well-seasoned.
I had tried their chicken wings during the soft opening and was really impressed, which was what made me come back. While the food is still finding its footing, there’s definitely a solid foundation here.
One suggestion: the place could really use some background music to help build a stronger vibe. Right now, it feels a bit quiet — a good playlist could easily add to the overall atmosphere.
Overall, a good experience with great service, and I’m looking forward to seeing...

Genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. Their onion burger is absolutely fantastic. Their fries (I've had the last bite loaded and hot options) are really really well made... moreish..
The staff (I didnt catch the guys names, sorry!) were really hospitable and helpful!
Decor is simple, understated. Get some decent background music going and it's awesome.
Last bite has taken an idea and absolutely nailed the basics.. then added some custom, in house, flair and rolled it out to customers.
It slaps. And has now become my go-to for burgers in town!
Keep on keeping on, guys! You're...
