I've been coming to Bolu Restaurant and Takeaway for a few years now, but it's my first time back since the start of the pandemic. It's still one of my favourite takeaways in the Camberwell area; the food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent.

As a Turkish restaurant, you can also eat in and enjoy the variety of food, from wraps to kebabs and more. Plus, the late night hours are perfect too!

They do not accept cards, but there are 2 cashpoints across the road so take cash in advance.

As for accessibility, the entrance to the restaurant has a small step, which may be difficult for wheelchair users to negotiate. The toilets are located downstairs and are therefore inaccessible for...

After discovering my usual kebab shop in the area had closed early, I stumbled upon this establishment where the majority of the Google reviews seemed quite positive so, I decided to take a chance. Upon arrival I was greeted in a friendly manner. We ordered the mixed grill which consisted of chicken shish, lamb shish, kofte, plenty of donner meat, salad and pitta.

Conclusion - The food was mediocre to say the least as a few other reviewers have mentioned.The lamb shish and kofte was good but the quality of doner meat was poor and went straight in the bin after a mouthful ( had an unpleasant taste as if the meat wasn't as fresh ). As expected I suffered the next day with terrible 'stomach bug' symptoms ALL DAY.

On a positive note the salad and pitta bread was very good. Wasn't a fan of the chilli sauce and the garlic sauce tasted like the cheap pre-bottled sugary stuff. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place and will not...

I went with my husband and 2 children ages 3 and 1 for lunch. I must say we had the most wonderful experience. The space was a great size with tables well spaced out. we loved the 4 seated table right at the back with the fish tank which kept them occupied. The waitress kindly greeted us all and was very responsive with the children which was endearing. she suggested a very palatable family dish to try with varying items catering to the little ones too (bolu special mix grill) everything was cooked to perfection. we were given complimentary starter while waiting for our food. This consisted of warm bread and homemade sauces. we didn't have to wait very long till our food arrived. This has become our local gem.
