If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience that seamlessly blends mouthwatering food with warm, attentive, and genuinely outstanding service, look no further than Bone Daddies Kensington. I can say, without hesitation, that this place has set a new gold standard for ramen restaurants — not just in London, but anywhere I’ve been.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. The energy is always upbeat, but the space still allows for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. The décor hits the perfect balance of edgy and welcoming, creating a unique vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay a while.
Now let’s talk about the star of the show — the service. I was absolutely blown away by the level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality extended to me and my group, all thanks to the incredible Manager Yash.
Yash is the kind of person who makes an evening out feel truly special. From the very start, his warm smile and professional, yet friendly, demeanor made us feel right at home. Throughout the evening, he checked in with perfect timing — never too much, never too little — and always with a sincere interest in whether we were enjoying our meal and if there was anything else he could do to enhance our experience.
It’s rare to find someone so naturally skilled at hospitality. Yash didn’t just offer recommendations (which were absolutely spot-on), but he did so with genuine enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the menu. His suggestions elevated our meal to a whole new level — from the perfect balance of starters to accompany the ramen, to drink pairings that complemented the bold and complex flavors of the dishes.
Speaking of the food — Bone Daddies Kensington delivers ramen that is nothing short of perfection. Every bowl is packed with rich, layered broths, tender noodles with just the right bite, and toppings so fresh and flavorful you can tell the chefs treat every order with care. Whether you go for the Tonkotsu, the Spicy Miso, or a seasonal special, you can taste the quality in every spoonful.
But great food is only half the story. What really makes Bone Daddies Kensington stand out is the sense of hospitality, and Yash is a shining example of this. He has the rare ability to make you feel like you’re the most important guest in the room, no matter how busy the place is. Every small detail — from the way he personally ensured dietary needs were met, to his thoughtful check-ins, and even how he remembered our names — made the evening unforgettable.
In a city full of dining options, it’s experiences like this that turn a one-time visit into a lifelong loyalty. Yash and his team genuinely transformed a simple dinner into a special memory for us, and I cannot praise them enough for it.
If you’re in London and craving phenomenal ramen served with a side of world-class hospitality, make Bone Daddies Kensington your next stop — and if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Manager Yash, I promise you’re in for an exceptional experience.

Read moreTL;DR: Bone Daddies offers a mixed experience with their limited-time buffalo chicken ramen and innovative dessert. While the flavors are generally good, some texture issues and inconsistent service detract from the overall experience.
Quick Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 - Interesting flavors, but some execution issues Service: 3/5 - Initially good, but lacking attention to outdoor diners Overall: 3.25/5 - Promising concept with room for improvement
Full Review:
This visit centered around the limited-time buffalo chicken ramen and soy salted caramel soft serve, showcasing the restaurant's willingness to experiment with flavors.
The buffalo chicken ramen presented an interesting flavor profile, successfully translating the beloved wing sauce into a ramen context. The broth was light and flavorful, though it could have benefited from more heat to truly capture the buffalo chicken experience. The star of the bowl was undoubtedly the egg - perfectly seasoned with a jammy yolk that added richness to each bite.
However, the dish wasn't without its flaws. The chicken, while flavorful, suffered from textural issues. The breading, likely crispy when first prepared, had softened considerably from sitting in the broth, leading to a somewhat monotonous texture throughout the dish. The noodles were slightly overcooked, though they managed to maintain their form.
The dessert, a soy salted caramel soft serve, was a highlight of the meal. It struck a delightful balance between sweet and salty flavors, with the added bonus of textural contrast from the crispy noodles. This innovative dessert showcases the kitchen's creativity and willingness to push culinary boundaries.
Service at this location was a mixed bag. Initially attentive, the staff's focus seemed to shift primarily to indoor diners as the meal progressed. For those seated outside, this meant having to enter the restaurant to get staff attention, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
The restaurant shows promise with its creative menu offerings. The buffalo chicken ramen, while not perfect, demonstrates an innovative approach to fusion cuisine. The standout soy salted caramel soft serve further cements the establishment's reputation for unique flavor combinations.
For those interested in trying this location, the dessert is a must-try. The ramen, while having some issues, offers an interesting twist on the classic dish. However, if dining outside, be prepared to be more proactive in seeking service. With some refinements to texture and consistency in service, this branch has the potential to be a standout dining...
Read moreWe get out of the Royal Albert Hall last night (to go and see Kurios of the Cirque du Soleil, disappointing experience by the way (see my other review)) and I wanted some good Ramen, checked the Google reviews (scroll thought the reviews and try to understand the demographic of the poster, if it is British, as long the food is not disgusting, will give 5 starts, if it has less probably is Asian or Italian (I am Italian and my wife is Asian, by the way!).
The pork ramen TONKOTSU (THE ORIGINAL) was VERY disappointing I tried much MUCH better Ramen in London and cheaper too. The broth (that was the MOST important part of a TONKOTSU) should have been thick with pork and miso flavours, you should have felt the CARE that a good Japanese chef put into their Ramen, instead was watery and with little taste, the spring onion were chucked there with no care, the eggs were tasting old, the pork was not cooked to perfection. The noodles in the ramen were NOT an excellent quality as well. Maybe for an average eater, with a less fussy palate than mine, this would have been a decent experience, but I AM a fussy eater, and I like to go for the best in everything, this was far from it. I would suggest other Ramen much much better (and cheaper) do not want to publicize it here (not sure about the Google policies) just scroll in my other reviews and find it.
Ah I almost forgot! The salt and pepper chicken wings my daughter got were COATED in pepper and DROWNED in oil, the taste was ok.. but the whole experience was less than ideal.
Not to my taste, not to return! Sorry Bone Daddy!
PS: the images of the Pork Ramen and the Chicken wings where from some google search as I did not took pictures of my plates that time. They are the same dishes, so I thought to give an idea of what did I eat. Bone Daddy if you have doubt that this is a scam review can provide you my bank record with the receipt for the evening! (I am a pro Google Reviewer, not a...
