Buongiorno Patisserie — Restaurant in London

I visited Buongiorno with high hopes of indulging in some delicious gelato. While I must admit that the gelato was indeed tasty, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with the size of the scoops. They were exceptionally small, possibly more suitable for kids than adults. At £6.50 for three scoops, it left me feeling a bit shortchanged.

On the positive side, staff were pleasant and polite. They provided excellent customer service, which did elevate the overall experience.

However, the underwhelming portion sizes have left me undecided about revisiting Buongiorno in the future. While the flavors were enjoyable, the value for money just didn't add up. If you're looking for a delightful treat for kids or a quick taste of gelato, this might be a suitable place to consider. For those expecting generous scoops and a fulfilling experience, you might want to explore other options...

Really excellent coffee. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.

On a recent trip to Twickenham, I was wandering the high street trying to choose a coffee shop - there were SO many to choose from, I didn't know where to go. Then I saw Bongiorno and it's style reminded me of holidays in Italy, which seemed an added bonus to a coffee, so in I went.

The coffee is top notch (large cappuccino for me) and comes with a glass of water, Italian style. I managed to fit in a surprising number of coffees during my stay in Twickenham and I will definitely be back! I admit that I will drive a long way for a good coffee. For the type on offer at Buongiorno in Twickenham I will take the train from the other side of the country! Utterly delicious. That goes for the baked treats as well and don't get me started on the amazing gelato...for a few blissful hours this morning I was transported back to some wonderful holidays in Italy and I have the charming and enthusiastic staff at Buongiorno to thank for that. I will definitely come back soon even if it means hopping on a train!...
