Little Mumbai — Restaurant in London

The ambience, food, staff & the park that is along the Thames River (1 km away) are all amazing!

We were in London for the night & ventured out for some local Indian food not far from Heathrow. We originally wanted to go into the Central London district & dine & Michelin-rated restaurant, but ended up finding this place & we are so glad that we did.

This restaurant’s food has its flavors enhanced with every single bite you take. The wines are organic & the beer is amazing.

Furthermore, Satya & his staff were beyond amazing.

The food is original. And the Kulfi had caramel over it. This is the first place I’ve ever had seen that done. And wow, was it good!

The ambience is cozy, yet modern, but not over the top.

Rugby and curry go together well. Rugby and little Mumbai go together brilliantly. After years of watching rugby and sampling the many curry houses in Twickenham this is, without doubt, the best I've been to. The staff are excellent and the food is sensational. This restaurant cares about food and its customers and I look forward to eating here again. Oh and draft beer cheaper than the pubs...What more could you want.

Update 2019: I've been back again since and it is still amazing but more importantly if you have someone who is gluten free this is possibly the best curry house in London for you. Almost every curry is guaranteed to be gluten free. I took my celiac cousin and she could have everything but the naan...

Please Read, I took my father in law to the Little Mumbai on the eve of the army/navy rugby game. We had pre booked and turned up 45 min early. This was not a problem to them and we were shown to our table. This was a good start to a experience that I found to be excellent. We are both in our later years and have eaten many many Indian meals, so we know what a good restaurant is. The service was swift and the food was outstanding. The staff were attentive and the owner took time to talk with us. A very passionate and genuine man.
