Burger King — Restaurant in London

Burger King in Harlesden used to be my favourite stop with my mum n friends for over 15 years but i hv turned my back on that restaurant n hv no plans to ever go thr to eat. The service thr is extremely slow with taking orders n preparing the food.At times the food is COLD. The staff r rude with attitude problems n never look happy. The place is always dirty with left over food on the tables n on the floors. The floors r not being cleaned, doesn't matter what time of the day it is, it is always filthy n sticky. I hv hd to literally call a member of staff to clean the place up as it is disgusting. The staff is only interested in wiping my table n leaving the rubbish underneath it n going bk into the kitchen. I hv actually seen staff using the same dirty cloth to wipe the legs of the tables n use that same dirty cloth without changing it, to wipe the tables. They r paid to look after their customers but it all comes down to the " i don't care attitude" ! The toilets r dirty n smelly which of course puts u off yr food for a start. Beggars r constantly coming into the restaurant, harrassing the diners for change, delight in sitting on a chair opposite the diners, staring straight onto the food on the trays which i find extremely rude. For me it puts me right off what i am eating. School kids come into the rest n hardly buying anything, screaming, shouting n talking very loudly like they own the place. Complained to the Manager one Thursday n he looked like he did not hv his faculties thr either. I felt i was talking to a brick wall when i complained abt the things above that i hv mentioned, the school kids taking over the place n was shocked with his reply. He reply was, "when i tell the school kids off for their behaviour, they go n tell the Headteacher n she in turn tells me off"! Really?? I asked him who is in charge of Burger King...the Manager or the School kids?? How on earth he got that Managerial Post is beyond me????? Thr is also a Security Guard inside the entrance n HE is as bad as the Manager n Staff. When i spoke to him as well abt the schoold kids, his attitude was THEY don't listen to me n went abt communicating on his mobile phone. If the Manager thr cannot control the school kids, leaves the tables n floors dirty n sticky, toilet stinking, cold food, Security Guard not doing his job properly, the service is very slow, it makes me cringe to know what is actually going on behind the scenes thr. Burger King's reputation is seriously at stake here. I hope Management read my review n do something drastic abt that place in Harlesden as i am very concerned abt the HYGIENE thr. It never used to be like this in all the years i hv bn coming thr. In the last year it has just gone to the dogs n i won't be going bk thr. Burger King, You let me down for the past 20 years of my life I have been a loyal customer I have always said Burger King was better than all the fast food chains but on February the 2nd I was really let down. I ordered the first time at 3:00pm approx for a lovely meal for one of crispy chicken with extra lettuce and cheese and mayo with a side of chili bites. Instead I received chicken nuggets with a whopper! I don’t eat beef so this burger was just simply a no no... I called burger king and the shift manager said “please forgive me sometimes in life mistakes like this happen and I just need you to please forgive me I will put in a extra for you ” in which I did and called just eat for a refund and reordered the food, once again Burger King you continued to fail me, the second time round you just sent me a chicken burger with bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce and a CHEESE BURGER DESPITE ME TELLING PATRICK THAT I DO NOT EAT BEEF!!! I will start by saying, that I've never been hugely sold on Burger King. I always thought it was an okay restaurant, but I grew up preferring McDonalds for my junk food needs.

Over the years I became a Vegetarian, and so my choice in burgers becomes incredibly limited. I've got to say that Burger King does not offer a great choice for Vegetarians.

With that said, what's so special about this venue?

Well, absolutely nothing - and that's the problem.

If you go to a local fast food restaurant you will get something that almost definitely tastes a heck of a lot better than Burger King. So the main thing it has going for it is availability, price, and high standards.

There's been a few times that I've gone here and the machines are broken. The building is almost always filthy, and once the staff were all stood outside the toilets making fun of a lady inside.

It's genuinely the most dire restaurant in Willesden / Harlesden area. My advice would be to AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Instead, pop into the Tesco next to it, pick up some fresh ingredients and make burgers at home. It's going to be a lot cheaper, tastier, and concerns over food hygiene are significantly reduced.
