visiting this food establishment that has been creating quite a buzz. With high expectations, I eagerly ventured into this eatery to sample their diverse menu. While my experience had its ups and downs, I found myself ultimately satisfied with the overall ambiance, service, and quality of the offerings.

Ambience and Cleanliness: As I stepped into the restaurant, the cozy yet modern ambience immediately caught my attention. With stylish decor and well-thought-out seating arrangements, the atmosphere exuded a relaxed and inviting vibe. The cleanliness of the kitchen was particularly impressive, with its pristine appearance and visually appealing presentation. It is evident that the establishment prioritizes hygiene and attention to detail.

The Food: My gastronomic journey began with the highly recommended mac and cheese, which unfortunately fell short of my expectations. While it was decent, the flavors were rather average. Similarly, the burnt end failed to leave a lasting impression. However, I must applaud the establishment for their standout offerings – the smash burgers and brisket. These dishes were undeniably the stars of the show, showcasing exquisite taste and expert craftsmanship. The succulent texture and well-balanced flavors of the burgers and brisket truly left a lasting impression on my palate.

Sides and Sauces: Accompanying the main dishes, the coleslaw and BBQ sauce added a delightful touch to the overall meal. The coleslaw, with its crisp freshness and pleasing tang, complemented the heartiness of the meats perfectly. The BBQ sauce, with its robust flavors and smoky undertones, enhanced the overall experience and showcased the establishment's commitment to quality ingredients.

Service and Waiting Time: Throughout my visits, the staff displayed exceptional friendliness and patience. Their attentive and knowledgeable approach added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. However, it is worth noting that during peak hours, the waiting time can be considerably long. Therefore, it is advisable to plan accordingly or be prepared to wait, especially if visiting during busy periods.

Pricing and Value: While the establishment may lean towards the pricier side, the quality of the offerings unquestionably reflects the price point. As an establishment in London, it is understandable that prices may be higher given the current market. Therefore, patrons should consider this when evaluating the value for money. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that the restaurant is halal, catering to a wider audience and providing an inclusive dining experience.

Conclusion: In conclusion, my visit to this London food haven was a mixed bag. Although some dishes fell short of expectations, the standout offerings, including the smash burgers and brisket, made up for it. The welcoming ambience, friendly service, and cleanliness of the kitchen were commendable aspects that contributed to an overall pleasant experience. While the establishment's prices may be on the higher end, the quality of the food justifies the cost. If you are a fan of expertly crafted burgers and brisket, this establishment is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for potential wait times during...

The place itself is nice, clean and has a lot of seating which is great. It's located in a nice looking garage style restaurant which looks really niche. The atmosphere is very good not too loud and not overly quiet it's a lovely place to eat with no issues from my experience.

In terms of the service it's overall very good, the waiter gives very good advice on how things work and was funny and friendly. I only gave it 4/5 stars because you just get up and get your own food and don't really interact with the waiter again. He did come around and ask if everything was okay and even took the trays and stuff after we finished. We weren't rushed to leave even though they had a queue forming outside. They let you bring your own drinks in. They don't sell alcohol but they'll let you bring it in for no charge. Which is good for most but for Muslims this isn't ideal.

Everything is halal and there is no pork so there's no need to worry about cross contamination.

Now for the most important part, the food. This is an amazing place for carnivores and meat lovers. The meat is all juicy and has lovely smoky flavours. But if you're looking for spice and deeper flavours, this won't be for you. This is purely smoked meat. Although the linked sausages had amazing spices in it and my favourite thing on the menu. The brisket was lovely, tender, juicy, and had the perfect amount of fat, not overly fatty which can happen and the fat melts in your mouth. The tex burger is one of the best smash burgers I've had it tasted like an actual burger in America and it was just rich and juicy this was my second favourite thing. The lamb ribs are large but annoyingly very fatty which I wasn't a huge fan of but still tasted delicious. If you like chicken you'll love the chicken thighs it's definitely by far one of the best chicken thighs I've ever had, just like everything else super juicy and tasty. Someone I was with tried the ribwich and they said it was amazing, moist and the bread was really good. The sides like chips, potato salad, coleslaw and dips were all really good no issues all tasty my favourite were the chips they were beautifully seasoned and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Sausages have the most flavour for anyone who wants spice or something stronger in terms of flavour.

Cost wise very pricey it worked out around £40 per person and there were 7 of us.

I'd come here again but for special occasions due to the price. But it's definitely worth a go and a good experience if you want to try American style smoked meat. It's all delicious and authentic to how a smoke house should be. The only thing I would say for the people who like their spices, you may not enjoy it as much because you'll be eating a lot of juicy meat and will end up putting a bunch of sauces on them for a kick which isn't the point of this kind of food. Give it...

Walked in on a busy Sunday evening. They don’t do reservations and there is no system to be seated next, so you kind of have to hope you will get a table at some point and grab whenever it becomes available.

I believe we waited around 25mins before we were able to sit down.

When ordering, we were informed that the food will take around 45mins to be ready. Not great, of course, but it is appreciated that we are told from the start.

I went for a classic tx smash burger with regular fries. It certainly did take a long while to come, just short of an hour in fact.

I feel that this is where the issues started to arise. We were a group of 4 and one of us received their order earlier than the rest. By the time the others received, the first recipient had eaten and was just sitting waiting for the rest to finish.

This is not a positive restaurant experience. When you go as a group, you want to be able to enoy all of the food together as you eat and socialise together at the same time.

My burger eventually came and it looked impressive. Taking a bite into it and it was a good tasting burger. I believe there are certain ingredients that bring the overall taste of the burger slightly down. The onions used were sautéed, if i’m not mistaken, so much so that it was quite slushy. I didn’t really enjoy the texture kf that. The pickles used for the burger was in fact cucumber, but I believe it lacked the tanginess that one would expect with pickles. I’m not entirely convinced that the cucumber was the best way to go. Burger gherkins usually have that great tanginess to it that gives the burger an extra punch. It did feel like the meat felt a bit like a steak burger rather than a smash burger. I didn’t particularly mind that but I don’t think it reaches the heights of a top smash burger. The fries were fine without tasting anything spectacular, but were cooked well.

The overall restaurant experience is brought down further by the extremely loud music. At times, I could barely hear the person sitting opposite me.

Overall, this is a restaurant that can be improved as it has an impressive menu. The burger was not quite for me due to certain preferences but i’m sure others would enjoy. The restaurant experience, however, should be improved greatly. The waiting time of the food (even if communicated before), the staggered food arrival, the grab your table yourself as if you’re in a food court, loud music all combine to making a difficult experience. I struggle to recommend a family to come here due to a myriad of inconveniences.

I do hope, however, they can move to a more standard restaurant experience to ensure a smooth end-to-end process for...

Made quite a trek to get here but pleased to report was worth it. As Reagan once said “trust but verify” and very happy to have verified that the Brisket deserves its lauded reputation - there is no short cutting, only time and patience could have produced the melt in the mouth texture that comes from the gradual breaking down of the connective tissue content (TMI I know). Likewise for the appropriately named Ribwich - beautifully tender and rich slow cooked beef rib meat offset by a nice slightly piquant red cabbage crunch barely held together inside two slices of bread. The Lamb Riblets (boneless!) were well cooked too with its own stickiness and complemented by a sweet sticky sauce. We didn’t forget about the veg - coleslaw and corn ribs were both absolutely delicious and well executed and worthy accompaniments. We ended the meal with their only dessert, a roasted pear sitting in custard alongside some roasted marshmallows, simple but 😋
