The good stuff: The food is very good and the portions are generous which is welcomed.
The constructive feedback on why me and my partner won’t be going back:
Some of the staff need to be more confident in their jobs and improve their customer service skills. A smile goes a long way In terms of speed, if I am ordering over a counter, I’m expecting for the food to be prepared somewhat fast; have some sense of urgency! Listen to the customer! Staff are trained to prepare the food and ask questions robotically and they end up forgetting what I told them I wouldn’t want in my burrito. However, the BIGGEST reason why I won’t be going back in, is management. Management is awful to staff. a) In 2 occasions the member of staff serving us did a negligible mistake, and the manager thought it was appropriate to belittle said person in front of us, which is an awkward experience. b) Also, the manager treated the staff as if they were a child ordering them to ‘come here’ and ‘sit down here’. c) During our latest visit, there was some voting competition for restaurants, and the table next to us were given little cards to vote, and me and my partner were not given one, because obviously we witnessed what happened earlier when we were being served.
Treating your team with respect is how you will empower them to do right by you and your business. I won’t be coming back because I cannot be supporting a business lacking the values required to manage people and run a business.
My advice? Go for a walk down the corner to Well kneaded, Amaranth, Ben’s Canteen, Bean and Hopper and observe how you can create that positive...
Read moreWe ordered two burritos via Deliveroo today. They were large and well packed which was a good start, unfortunately that was the best thing I can say about it.
We ordered one steak and one chicken burrito, and in both there was a small amount of meat, poorly distributed throughout the burrito. The flavour was good, but the steak chunks were chewy.
We paid extra for Guac in each burrito, which was primarily at either end, so my meal started and ended with a mouthful of guac which, whilst tasty and fresh, wasn't ideal as it meant there was little guac throughout the burrito.
The options then allow for various beans and peppers, which again were poorly distributed and lot a good amount of. In addition you could choose between cheese, sour cream, or half of each. I opted for cheese, hoping there would be more of it, but I unfortunately didn't taste or see any cheese in the burrito at all. My partner opted for half of each and similarly isn't sure it was present.
The rest of the burrito was PACKED with the lime and coriander rice, which was tasty, but dry and boring because of the lack of the rest of the fillings and uneven distribution, it really felt like eating a rice wrap at times.
Overall there are far better alternatives elsewhere for a better cost. We paid over £10 for each burrito and were left bitterly disappointed by what we received for that.
TL;DR: Underweight in the good fillings, overweight in the cheap filling (rice), poorly distributed with some fillings missing altogether - all paid at a...

The burrito was LOVELY!
BUT A big man got served before me, the lady served him, and she filled his LARGE burrito like she’s supposed to. Great!
But instead I got served by the skinny man Who decided that because I’m a slim female i won’t eat that much (even though I bought the same LARGE size) so he only gave me a little bit of filling in my large burrito wrap!
Even the woman was looking at what he was doing (I don’t know if she was thinking the same as me, but it was NOT as much as she gave the man she served before) AT ALL.
That man was knocking the beans off before he even started my burrito properly. sprinkling the beans on my rice, like come on.
I ordered large and he gave me a small amount of food.
Every time he scooped up some food on the spoon, he was knocking bits off again. I ordered large and I got such a small amount of filling.
You’re not supposed to serve someone based on their size – Which is clearly what happened tonight.
You served them based on their “ORDER!” and the price they paid.
You don’t decide what type of large you gonna give someone Depending on if they’re big or small.
When you play with peoples food like that you’re playing with peoples money, you're literally overcharging them.
I basically got charged a bit more than the first guy because of that.
I was so pissed. I should’ve said something.
The man served me like I’m a blxxdy toddler.
If I ever go there again I want the woman to serve me.
She knows what...
