Read morePerfect little Portuguese cafe with a relaxed local feel serving good strong cortados and tasty pastel del natas to kick start your day. For me Friday & Saturday mornings are the best time to visit when the entire street is gearing up for market as street vendors set up their stalls, antique dealers ply the footpath with collectible vintage homeware and locals yawn awake and gradually meander their way down to street level to go about their day. This is a slice of bohemian ‘Portobello’ as it probably was some 10-15 years ago with a less touristic bent and much quieter than it's aforementioned neighbour. There was a queue and we missed our turn, as the waitress, who was standing in front of us, turned around and went to serve a customer who had just entered the café. The "coxinhas" were rock solid stale, had to go straight into the bin, right after the first bite. Never ever in my life have been served anything like this. Seriously overpriced as well. It's a shame to witness this level of service in hospitality and sadly I won't be back to give...
