Timeline - 21.32 i call for delivery. Lady says "don't do delivery have to order by uber" i reply "i don't have uber so I'll come and collect it" "OK 15minute it ready for collection"

21 34 " actually I'll come and eat it in the restaurant" "eat in restaurant that's nice see you soon"

21.50 me - " I'm aware of the time so be sure startere are ready to est" bald guyi replies " we close at 10" muffled noise call disconnects

21.52 I arrive not knowing what's going in. Bald guy shows me to table. 28degrees in London - Im offered no water, no drink.

1x FAMILY of 4 and 1x GROUP of 6. The group Being Served hot foods and drinks past 10pm.

22.15 My starters and main plonked on table, starters already cold. No water offered.

No soy sauces offered. Still no water. Bald guy talking to delivery driver for 15 minutes even though delivery driver mbbnot picking up a delivery

time to pay I give cash then calmly explain the timeline of events. Bald guy keeps tryin to interrupt.

Snatchers cash takes it to til then shouts in ear shot or staff and guests "you been watching PAWN, I saw you watching PAWN. This is family restaurant and you're watching PAWN with kids around. TAKE YOUR MONEY, we don't want your sort in here and don't come back"

I'd be sat away from all other guests for a quiet meal occasionally looking at Grindr, a gay dating app.

My wife and I were discussing dinner options after a long drive home after visiting an elderly relative. After a staycation of eating every cuisine but Thai this was the last piece of the puzzle to round off our bank holiday.

We were very close to going to Rosa’s the tried and tested option, however we stumbled across Bangkok Bay and after finding out all the meat is halal and surface level due diligence we decided to try this place.

We ordered two stir fries of mushroom, ginger, onion and more with chicken and another with beef. Both were tremendously bland. We had reach for our chilli flakes, salt, pepper and even garlic granules to lift this disappointing dish. I had a bad feeling immediately upon seeing the dishes as they were in a watery sauce as if it was meant to be a curry, not something you expect with a stir fry. The sesame toast was also poor but I expected this at this point, but the duck spring rolls were actually quite good.

I'm a big fan of Thai food and having been to Thailand many man times I know what i'm after when it comes to Thai food - and this place is one of my favourite Thai places in the whole of London. I have only eaten in and haven't tried the deliver service so I can only speak to it as a restaurant.

There are a large range of choices (including many for vegetarians) = the service is quick and friendly, and the food was very tasty and where applicable came with just the right amount of spice.

Add to that the fact that you can bring your own beers / wine (subject to a small corkage charge) and you're on to a cheap yet tasty winner. Oh and the decor of the place really reminds me of...
