Cafe Delight — Restaurant in London

One of the worst cafes to eat from in the Lewisham area. Being right next to main Lewisham I really had high expectations. This is the most vile, grim and unprofessional place I have eaten from. I was skeptical when I received my food at first as there was a hair on there. These things happen so I didn’t think too much of it. Boy I should of listened to those red flags. Now I have been on the toilet for 2 days and counting. I haven’t had food poisoning like this since I was in school, and I’m a 37 year old male. Oh yeah my mrs has it too. Really lovely guys working there. Friendly and forthcoming but with the delicacy to know when to leave you to your own company.

Food was delicious and came quickly. Very reasonably priced, we thought; the cafe nearest us provides a negligable difference in quality but at ~30% greater cost (and less cheery chat!).

We both had vegetarian/vegan breakfasts, but were nearly tempted by the lunch menu. Whilst no vegan offering was on the menu, the guys were very happy to swap a few things in/out and my mate was very happy with his meal!

My flat white was the best I'd had all week.

Food I bought via JUST EAT offered FREE AMERICANOS with my meals I ordered 2 meals GOT NO AMERICANO'S £7 rip off😠. Was supposed to get 2 sausages they only gave me 1 in both meals😡... So £20 total now missing £7 worth of AMERICANOs & 2 sausages £3 missing, Ripped off £10 with no way to contact restaurant as they have STRATEGICALLY CUT OFF THE TELEPHONE, and now un-contactable if you have kindly ordered food from them to support them.. Well i was a new customer now im 1 more lost customer. Great work guys competency comes to mind 🙄👀.. I'll take my chances in the future else where thanks. Fix your telephone...
