I will be completely honest, I am staying at lewisham for 2 weeks and this place is awesome, I really like the environment, the people, drinks etc… I have been returning for 3 days. But today suddenly I asked one girl from the staff for the Orgasm cocktail, something I really love and always order in my country, she said they don’t serve it so I just ordered another beer, 2 minutes later I was asked to leave the bar, the manager told me I am not supposed to ask for that to a girl, how was I supposed to know that as a foreigner just visiting London? He was very professional, I was feeling embarrassed and left the place after apologizing, but I think it wasn’t the way to correct a customer. Cheap beer and plenty of TV's showing football and the rugby international (a good or bad thing depending on your attitude). Asked about their bitter, the barman informed me that they ran out the previous day (Saturday). Asked for a light and lager, was given a pint of lager; couldn't be bothered to complain. My friend and I visited this pub on a friday evening and we were made to feel very unwelcome and unconfortable. The manager of this pub and the bartenders eavesdropped on our conversation and made jokes regarding our conversation with each other and customers and mimiced our actions. It was made clear that we were not welcome. It was also made clear this was because my friend and I are gay.
