I tried booking an appointment with the optician at Boots Lewisham. I phoned several times, letting it ring for over two minutes on each attempt, but nobody ever answered. In the end, I gave up and booked with Specsavers — it took less than a minute online. To be honest, I’m not sure what Boots stands for anymore. The stores have looked tired for years, and the Lewisham branch is particularly depressing. The main entrance has literally been boarded up since Covid times, giving the whole place the look of a shantytown. Inside isn’t much better. The décor is dated, the furniture is shabby, and the lighting is nothing short of criminal. Add to that higher-than-average prices and a food section that’s frankly inedible, and I genuinely wonder: what is the point of this shop — or this chain — anymore? Can someone please explain? (Adding this comment after receiving a reply from Boots.) What exactly is there to discuss with Customer Service that isn’t already obvious by simply walking around the store? The boarded-up entrance and shabby storefront are clearly visible in the photos I uploaded. And as for the opticians line, perhaps try making a few anonymous calls yourselves to see if the “great level of care” you mention is actually being delivered.

A decent enough selection in this store. Could do with a better range of products however I appreciate that theft must be high in this store. A deterrence is having any visible staff in the store. The shop is severely under staffed. A Sunday is particularly bad of late. The last 4 weeks have been horrendous with queues. One person is serving on the fragrances, another doing click and collects which leaves one person on the tills! Here is a picture for reference.

Absolutely love boots. One of the few places in London that still does photo album inside and still have the passport photo kiosk and photo printing kiosks. There's such a worldwide selection of cosmetics and toiletries, a baby section, pharmacy, options and so much more. This boots in Bromley is one of the biggest I've been to in London. There is also a smaller boots in Bromley too.

Repeated experiences while collecting online order. Yesterday 15th April around 2 o’clock after collecting online package I was browsing the store for a while. During leaving time the alarm came on but I didn’t give attention because it’s the second time I experienced from boots order and I know they don’t remove security tags while packing orders which they are supposed to do. But I got annoyed when security guy stopped me for check and he was behaving like I was shoplifting.(he was just doing his job I know) When he found out it’s inside the packed box by boots he was like it’s okay you can go. No bro may be it’s okay for you but it’s NOT OKAY for customers who paid for this yet getting bothered by you because of staff negligence. Staff are supposed to remove this. Then also I realised I was being followed by him for long as I wasn’t buying anything.

As I mentioned few months back I had the same experience and every store I was going I had to stop for security check because of that packed box from boots. So I went back to counter and ask one of the staff to open box and remove that shit. She found out among 3 products two of them with tags in it. My question to boots why customer should get embarrassed by your staff while they are actually paying for...

Went to the Lewisham, pharmacy store, on the 21st of July, enquaryig about a antiinflmatory that I could take at same time as aspirin. Two lady's on the counter, none of them engaged with me; finally after a while one of them did. After my question she crosses her arms with she was whispering some sort of pray that I couldn't understand. That went on for a few seconds, and finally she said that the pharmacist was on break. I asked her until when. She replied 3 hish. It was 2.50pm. I asked her if she had an idea how long can be "hish'? She didn't replyed. Just looked at me with a blanc stare so I thanked her and left. Absolutely unprofessional. Visitor experience zero. In reality she didn't know what she was doing there. The other lady never opened her mouth. Very unpleasant experience. I...
