Hello, I've been a loyal Caffè Nero customer for several years, and I frequently visit the Upminster, Essex store. Unfortunately, my recent experiences there have been consistently disappointing. Upon each visit, I find myself unacknowledged and confronted by grumpy, rude, and unfriendly staff, a trend that has persisted over time.
This is not an isolated incident, and I am compelled to bring this matter to your attention. The staff's lack of professionalism is evident, requiring customers to initiate greetings and repeat their orders, only to receive a disinterested response in return. During my last visit on Sunday, I took a photo of the staff member in question to share with you to investigate, as none of them were wearing name badges, making it challenging to identify individuals.
In stark contrast, I must commend the excellent service at another local store in Brentwood. The staff there are friendly, engaging in conversation, and providing a positive experience for customers.
As regular patrons of this store, we have consistently encountered disrespectful treatment, and I believe it is crucial to investigate and rectify this issue.
I hope that my feedback prompts a thorough examination of the customer service practices at the Upminster store, leading to improvements in staff behavior and overall...
Read moreTHe ONLY nice cafe around which welcomes our dog inside. Many cafe are advertised as dog friendly including some in Hornchurch and Upminster which ARE NOT they mean you can sit out side with the smokers in the cold. I understand Starbucks in Hornchurch is now letting them in too but in our opinion Neros is still the best. I meet so many people there after being out for a walk it's so nice to both feel welcome. SUGGESTION I understand cafes cant have boisterous aggressive dogs in with their customers - why don't Neros produce a double sided loyalty card one side for us to collect the stamps as Noe, and on the reverse a paw stamp to collect IF your dog has been good and the staff feel able to welcome them back. That would be sooo cool our dogs could collect their own good dog loyalty rewards, but more importantly would indicate their behaviour and staff could just not stamp it if they felt the dog had been a nuisence. I think most dog owners would love this....
Read moreThere are 2 female staff and one male staff serving. I witnessed the older female staff with short hair talking rudly to the tanned skin younger girl on two occasions while in the store the potential feeling is that she bully's her, she had told her to bring a coffee over to someone but the manner she spoke to her was unacceptable and it was quiet apparent on the young girls face she didn't like it. The younger tanned skin female is quiet but always polite friendly and smiling. As a customer this isn't nice to see. To management please ensure staff are always professional to one another even while working...
