The food was very nice but the way they rush you to eat your food isn’t. Me and my boyfriend have been going Korean BBQ for ages and is one of our favourites. We like to cook it ourselves because we know how we like it plus I’m pregnant so it’s important I cook it myself. The food came very slow considering the raw meat was still in the freezer and was still frozen when came out. One of the staff started cooking the meet, Another lady came to our table as the other guy seemed to not do it very fast and she was rushing our food so much , hovering over the table making it very awkward for us to converse and enjoy our dinner. We had to rush to eat it as it was going to become cold and chewy. Very overpriced, and it really annoyed me that they stood there cooking if for us. Beats the whole experience of Korean BBQ. I’m only going to Yori Piccadilly or Covent Garden . There’s plenty nicer ones on Kingston and New Malden where you cook it yourself and the need is fabulous also the egg fried rice was very salty . I spend hundred when going to Korean BBQs but not sure we will be...

This is tasty korean BBQ. Each table has a BBQ grill and if you tell them you've done this before, they'll let you cook the meat yourself - a far more enjoyable experience. Having been a few times I'd recommend the prawn starter, and for the BBQ my favourite cuts are the chill pork (number b4 on the menu I think!) and the tenderloin steak.

However on the last few visits I've grown less keen on this place - it just feels like they're rushing you and interfering too much. For example last night we ordered 3 bbq dishes and said we'd like to cook them ourselves. When the dishes came she emptied all 3 dishes on the grill so they all cooked at once. So we had to eat quickly or let them overcook or get cold. Then she kept coming and turning the grill down without asking. It was all just quite rude. Plus our friends got bad food poisoning from the dinner. So the search for the perfect Korean bbq...

This was the first time I tried Korean BBQ.

The staff was very friendly and polite as soon as we came through the door. They showed us to our table and we ordered a bottle of sparkling water whilst we waited for our friends to arrive.

After we were recommended what dishes we should try, we proceeded to order. We got the following: kimchi joeon jap chae tteokbokki pork platter ssam set egg souffle sangchu steamed rice

The food was very good and the host came to our table and cooked the meats right in front of us. I was very surprised by that.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively. However, at one point, they played 'happy birthday ' over the speakers at quite a high volume and without any warning, which was a bit too much.

However, that was the only negative of an otherwise very good experience, so it still...

A lot of fanfare followed the opening of this restaurant, so as a local, I was eager to try it out. The restaurant and it's operation feels polished, with new furnishings and decor aiming slightly upmarket, servers move efficiently across the floor and staff feel trained in hospitality. The food isn't far behind either, the seafood pancakes are delicately crispy, the kimchi jigae is warming and sharp with flavour and the beef bulgogi shines with it's marinade. However, portion sizes are noticeably lower than average, which cuts twice as bad given the higher price point. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating and barbeques built into all tables. Great setting for a more upscale group dinner but on balance, there are other local Korean restaurants where I would rather get my fill.

Absolutely delicious food, we had pajeon (seafood pancake) and bibimbaps which were so tasty, along with the complimentary side dishes that were just perfection. And the green tea and sesame ice cream with red bean paste was the perfect way to round off the dinner. The staff are super friendly here, everyone greeted us with big kind smiles, were super polite and created such a warm atmosphere. Even though it was a very busy Saturday night and they were fully booked, they still delivered such fantastic service and the food came out so quickly. Definitely would visit again!
