Chelsea Riverside Brasserie — Restaurant in London

Unfortunately, I have breakfast at Chelsea Riverside Brasserie every morning because my company books us into this hotel. What should be a pleasant start to the day has become a daily struggle.

The staff are kind and do their best—special thanks to Anastácia, who is probably the only consistently great thing about this place. She’s attentive and lovely. However, the rest of the experience is incredibly frustrating.

The restaurant is chronically understaffed, which means you often have to wait ages just to place your order—or practically beg someone to notice you. Once the food finally arrives, it’s often wrong or missing items. Despite repeatedly asking for regular bacon, they always send the smoked back bacon—even though the regular option is on the menu.

This morning, they forgot the avocado and feta cheese in my omelet. Yesterday, I thought I’d be safe ordering a classic club sandwich for lunch—something simple and hard to mess up. But somehow, they did. The chicken was dry, tasteless, and tough—easily the worst club sandwich I’ve ever had.

The food overall is oily, basic, and overpriced, with very few decent options. It’s a shame because the hotel itself is nice, but this restaurant completely kills the vibe.

Went there with a friend for afternoon tea. Booking was seamless. We went just before Christmas, so the afternoon tea was Christmas themed. We were seated by the glass windows overlooking the Quay-beautiful view. Staff were very polite and attentive, explaining all items served and enquired about allergies. Went here for a breakfast, but I can't judge the food as we haven't received any. I give it a one star for the view of the Chelsea Harbour. The staff is absolutely overwhelmed, we have been waiting 20 minutes for a high chair, asking probably four times for it. One waiter told us he will bring a food menu, which never arrived, the other said we can go and grab some food ourselves. When asked what the prices are, we also never received any answer.
