Golden Chicken London — Restaurant in London

It is unusual for me to revise my opinion so radically as I am about to do here. I do not know what has happened, but the food - at least the chicken strips and chips have had an unbelievable transformation from junk to superb. I am very proud of my time in the food trade, when I learnt as much about how food is presented as well as prepared, and like to think I can tell me difference between genuine chicken breast and the ghastly abortion they call nuggets. The chicken strips at Golden Chicken are quite obviously fillets of the finest chicken breast, and are large, juicy, tender, cooked to perfection and utterly delicious. How they can supply a minimum of half a dozen with chips for just £5 is a mystery, but I'm not complaining! Even the chips - cold and flabby on my visits a few years ago - are now crisp and golden, so I cannot give them anything but 5 stars. It may be just a simple takeaway, but it's a joy to visit at any time. If I had to warn someone who truly loves themselves, I would tell them NOT TO COME HERE OR MAKE TAKE-WAY-DELIVER. The customer service is -100% worrisome ,and (unacceptable). The food are not warm after 7 PM. In addition , they use the same oil to cook the chips and the fish . Please forget asking the kebab, and DO-NOT even ask for the chilly sauce for the little old fella . They were stupid enough to make me buy the chilly sauce one time. Furthermore, who on earth does not use or accept a card these days? I have the impression that they opened this shop to irritate people and aggravate customers. Also, when someone says I need burger sauce, why you put mayonnaise I feel like you guys need a Gordon Ramsey review at this point, like fix up man.

Placed an order on Just Eat and paid online for 3 massala fish and chips for £23, it never arrived. The delivery driver could be tracked on the map and was around the area of my address for at least 30mins but never delivered neither called me. Then the order was cancelled and don’t know by whom as it wasn’t me. Out of pocket and tried calling the restaurant and their number online doesn’t work! I have been buying food from this take away for at least 15 years and their customer service now is not good. They have my number and they didn’t contact me when the food was returned to them by the delivery driver even though I paid for it already and I’m a regular customer.
