Costa Coffee ODEON Luxe Uxbridge — Restaurant in London

Very disappointing customer service.

I visited this Costa today at around 15:40. While ordering my coffee, I politely asked if they offered an NHS discount. The female staff member, with a visibly hostile expression, replied that they don’t. I mentioned that a week ago another staff member had given me the discount. They then named a particular employee and said he might have done it because he’s new, but that they don’t normally offer it.

I accepted this and asked them to proceed with the order at the normal rate. However, the staff then began making fun of the discount request and the colleague who had previously applied it, laughing among themselves while I was putting sugar in my coffee. This behaviour made me feel very uncomfortable

When I moved to sit down, the table was unclean and there were flies around. The two male and one female staff present seemed more focused on joking with each other and mocking customers than providing professional service.

Overall, the experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this...

Slow and lack lustre service from the gentleman today. No real enthusiasm to make or serve an overpriced coffee. No way to redeem points. Tables remain uncleared and yet it isnt even busy.. Flies on tables and surrounds. I rarely come to this Costa. But over the last 5 years its got worse. I wont be returning in a hurry. Edit. Returned again today. Lady was slow. As I regular customer I see It's worse than before after recent renovation. Power sockets do not work, if you plan to work on your laptop there take it fully charged from home or go to another place.

Also, it's been now for months the bar code machine is not working, so you can't scan your app to get points and they keep promising its gonna be fixed soon, I lost around 30 points so far!! I think this should be reported to Costa. This is my last visit here,...
