Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

Please avoid this costa at all costs! Had an awful experience here on Monday. I had the dog with me and have gone many times. I asked for water for the dog from the staff member Amelia behind the tills. She has given me cups of water in the glass many times alongside other staff members and its never been an issue. As I'm reading my book and drinking my coffee with my dog relaxing next to me, all of a sudden a lady comes marching over to me (found out she's a manager imagine) and snatches the glass and slams the dog water bowl down and shouts in front of everyone 'this only for customers not dogs yea' aggressively and loudly. I was in shock and told her who are you and what is your name and how dare she shout at me like that and be aggressive. She completely ignored me and went into the staff area, i demanded her name and found out her name is Kinga and she is a manager to my shock. Other customers were also shocked. Then Amelia who was behind the till ignored me seeing i was visibly upset and just shrugged her shoulders and said theirs nothing i can do. I am disgusted and then they started talking in a different language and the manager was refusing to come out and shouting from inside the room. I told them i am complaining to costa and the other staff member behind the till tried to apologize for her and i said how can you apologies on behalf of your manager. Absolutely embarrassing. They have no customer service skills what so ever and they ruined my day at a place where i am supposed to relax and feel safe, to be shouted it, aggressive and then hiding in the staff room is beyond unprofessional and i will never go their again after what has happened. A manager is supposed to come and speak to me like a human being first if theirs a problem and i am completely fine with the dog drinking water from the dog bowl outside but for years they have always seen me with the dog and never said anything. To talk to me like that and Kinga's behavior is vile and i will let all the locals know to avoid that costa. I have complained also to customer services on Kinga. To top it off, one of the staff members was begging me not to do a review as their reviews have been low, to which i replied are you surprised your reviews are low with a manager like that. Then she tried to offer me a free drink as a bribe not to complain and report it which i refused. My dog was also shaky and none of my family will go their again. Never had this kind of poor customer service. I was utterly shocked by the way we were treated in this place. We weren't greeted in a nice way at all, whereas we seemed to be bothering them(4 baristas of which 1 seemed to be manager as she was wearing a shirt) as were completely ignored, all of them speaking in their own language behind the bar and in front of at least 9 customer queued to ordered, skipping customers, everything seemed a total chaos. The drinks seemed to be made wrong too as we had 2 of the same drinks, of which one of it was stronger in taste and very bittery and the other one okish to drink. We had some desserts and on one of them we found hair and on the other one something that seemed to be a fake eye-lash. I went to return the one with hair and I was kind of questioned of where is the hair and I was given bad looks, afterwards the barista charged it for one straight from the pack she didn't even apologised whereas I was shocked, I work in customer service/hospitality myself but I never saw this kind of behaviour. During our visit there there wasn't any moment when somebody was checking the outside area sitting and there was loads of cups and plastic waste flying because of windy weather. Before I write a bad review, I need few bad experiences and here a Costa Colindale, bad experiences never end, with those very poorly trained people. I went in for a coffee, staff don't pay attention at costumers request, and instead they talk to each other in foreign language, which I found very annoying, I specifically asked for decaf soya cappuccino without chocolate on top, I received a sort of very hot milk and espresso mixed together with chocolate on top, this was the first time that I wasted £3.05. Went again different staff, same request but apparently, they don't have clue of what cappuccino is, or how to fluff the milk appropriately, so an other £3.05 wasted, and an other big cup of super hot milk. Third and last time, an other member of staff, tried and tried several time to fluff the milk, to satisfy my request of dry cappuccino, for at least 4 times, he throw the milk away and tried again but with no success, so I ended up with an other horrible big cup of hot milk, an other £3.05 in the bin, so that's when I realised that they don't know what they're doing, I mean 3 different members of staff and 3 disasters, as an Italian I am very disappointed by Costa and I will never go back in...
