I understand it’s a £5 Too Good To Go surprise bag, but this was more disappointing than surprising. The employee said 10-15 minutes, then 10 minutes a breath right after, so I sat grateful about not having to wait too long right after finishing my shift and I appreciate the sentiment but I didn’t appreciate being lied to and waiting half an hour, especially after my shift. They gave me 2 cold, dry burgers. They saw one person picking up and thought 2 burgers would make them happy. Why not make it worth it? Something extra even as small as a drink to make up for the ridiculous wait that you lied about would have been sufficient customer service. But, overall this was my worst experience buying food. I couldn’t even finish one burger, thankfully, I didn’t have to eat both. My mum ate one and said she’s had better burgers elsewhere and that it was dry and cold, she gave it a 2/5. We entered this burger place with high hopes but were quickly disappointed. The restaurant charged us a “dining in and service fee” before even being served. We were not made aware of this until I asked what the extra fee was when paying for my burger meal. The tables were wobbly and the shop was freezing. On top of this, there was no service provided, we had to collect our own food from the counter which took over 20 minutes (not too sure what the service fee was for?).
